Has any long term [20 years or more] smoker used vapes/e-cigarettes to stop using tobacco? I have been smoking for 60 of my 70 years life, now the cost is getting prohibitive so am trying vapes, to some success but not totally.
Peter S 725014
Have not tried the vapes. I use the 'under the counter' tobacco. All the tobacconists sell it. It's hit n miss for quality. Usually around $40 for 100gms which will last me a week. OZ govt tax makes 'brand' tobacco out of the question. And, as soon as I exit the store, the bums are lined up, give us a smoke, got a smoke, got spare $2. It's **** off from me everytime.

Does anyone know if it is safe to compost those brown corrugated cardboard boxes that come with online shopping? I have lots of boxes that I would prefer to compost rather than chuck in kerbside recycling for collection. I know that bleached paper is a no no because bacteria doesn't like it as much but I've also heard that they use fumigation chemicals on some cardboard boxes (particularly those that cross borders) and then there are chemicals in dyes and maybe others that I'm unaware...

At my old home address I got fed up with huge amounts of weeds growing in the raised garden beds so I decided to cover them with weed mats, however under the weed mats I placed flattened cardboard boxes and a year later the weeds began growing back; so YES things do grow on them.
However when I looked there was no cardboard boxes thee meaning they had ALL broken down and turned to soil

I have tried eating at restaurants that specify Gluten Free. I have Coeliac disease and am allergic to Wheat. Almost a week ago I went to a nearby Venue for dinner with friends. I ordered a Barramundi and veg. Gluten free. I was assured twice it was gluten free. Unfortunately in the early hours I experienced abdominal pains in my small and large intestine. Almost 6 days later and I am still in pain. Should there be a thorough investigation into Restaurants to make...

Have you ever felt completely drained in a close relationship - by a friend or a spouse? I did - it took me a long time to realise that all my energy is sucked out of me by a long time friend. His constant, unstoppable emotional battle with real or imagined dramas sucked my life-blood out of me. Tried to help him, felt sorry for him...too long. There was nothing I d do than completely stop the relationship with a heroic effort. Have you experienced something similar and if you did...
Linda C
Yes and I cut them out of my life completely. We seem to be conditioned to cop this rubbish and look the other way etc. Not on. Some people are drama driven, others are using these tactics to keep you under their thumb with you thinking you can or should help them for some stupid reason. Life is too short to have to deal with these types of roller coaster relationships. Being on tender hooks waiting for the boom gates to drop and you have to appease them in some way. Cut and run...

Humans are not good at coping with risks they have never encounter before (including me), as exemplified by the politics of climate change (profits over people - foundation of capitalism). My guess is we have less than hundred years of existence on this planet - based on our ongoing and accelerating destruction of the planet (aka capitalism) - with a booming population explosion added to the mix. My personal guess is we have less than hundred years of human existence on this plane -...

God, no!!!! Another BS scheme by the Governments, the Greenies etc. Whilst good in theory, it just doesn't work, the outlay is too much, damage not covered, lifetime is short. I have enough problems!!!

Do you have the income, so you can see a Dentist often for a check-up and a clean to your teeth? Say every six months is the general time frame to get checked. Or are you one of the people that simply can't afford to go to the Dentist and only go when you have a toothache and have to pay off the bill or get assistance from Winz (Work and Income New Zealand, provide income support)? I feel the prices are too expensive and that is why the majority don't go...
Judy CH
My teeth are falling to pieces and since we were scammed out of $53,500 things have been tough making ends meet, I have asked WINZ 3 times for help but they keep saying you have too much in the bank, we only have enough to cover the mortgage, power, rates etc but no help. If I go to the dentist the only place the money can come from is our food money so I am well and truly stuffed. But they can put people who play the system in emergency accommodation and pay $1,000 a week. Plus help them pay rent arrears and repairs for their last house they trashed!!

I've noticed an increasing number of surveys (not just here) now want you to either download an app so they can track your online usage eg shopping etc or tv/ online video habits or want you to use a webcam. These are usually offering higher levels of rewards. I refuse to do any of these, as I find them way too intrusive, but was wondering how others feel about such activities. Are you ok with that sort of tracking or do you find it not acceptable?
Julie K 348980
I too have noticed how many organisations are now asking me to turn on my webcam. I do not allow it especially as I was told by an IT specialist that even if you do not have it switched on you can still be seen by others. That scared the bejesus out of me.

Let's start with Billy Thorpe and The Aztecs, Ray Columbus and The Invaders, Johnny O'Keefe and some I don't even remember, Johnny Devlin, Del Shannon, Sounds Incorporated, The Searchers, Lucky Starr, Lonnie lee, Dinah Lee, Roland Storm and I saw him again last year and he hadn't changed much at all, Neil Diamond and of course The Beatles. Little Pattie is in there as well, John Paul Young, Leo Sayer, Jon English, Renee Gayer, Wendy Matthews, Cotton, Keyes and Morris, The Beach Boys and Queen, in fact I feel my day was much better because there was The JOK show, Banstand, Surf City, The Good Guys lunchtime shows at Bebarfalds and a show on Saturday afternoons with Jimmy Hannon, it might have been called Saturday Date. In terms of genes, what did you inherit from a relative? I inherited my grandfather's nose, but it's a female version. I inherited my hazel green eyes from (I am guessing) my Irish part of the family. How about you? And, feel free to add an environmental trait, if you don't know what you have inherited (i.e. are adopted). Like a habit picked up from those around you.

Do you still keep in touch with your childhood friends? I used to be inseparable with my best friend from primary school for many years, she was even my maid of honour during my wedding ceremony. And yet, now, over the years our ways have somehow parted. Would you say your experiences are similar?

It wasn't until I started work at the age of 15 years that I made a good friend. I was bullied all through school. Then I found a great job where I met my best friend and the people I worked with were fantastic. Then my dad decided we should emigrate to Australia from the UK and I left my friends and my beautiful dog behind. Don't get me wrong I mostly love Australia apart from the Government, I have been married since 1979, four wonderful daughters, four grandchildren and a greyhound who is now my best friend, companion and confidante, she never gossips.

Same here so I have had to unsubscribe from a lot of businesses now because it has become too annoying,I mean I don't need 3-4 emails from the same company reminding me there is a big sale on in the one day,I am not stupid lol...But yes I do shop a lot online because it is more convenient although I will only shop with trusted companies now after being ripped off one too many times.

Gosh, a woman should be in charge of her own body, it's a basic human right. The patriarchy should have no say whatsoever. I cannot believe in 2020 women are still fighting for reproductive rights. It's like living in the dark ages.
Katzeye
I'm not going to say too much on this subject because enough has been said about it already but I will say that I agree with you Kimberly H.Yes a woman should be in charge of her own body but if you are in a relationship then the discussion of having children or not having children should be talked about between the both of you,not just one sided. If a woman who is single decides to not have children then that is her choice and her choice alone,no one should force her in to motherhood if she does not want to be a mother.I have a few friends who have never had children and they don't regret it.

I had to go into forced retirement due to a chronic injury and illness. I was lucky my late husband left me some money as I can't get any government benefits because I'm too young. My illness isn't recognised by centrelink so I do not get any money. I'd go back to work if it was possible.

We know and some of us think electric vehicles are actually good for the environment but what about for the economy, considering the electricity consumption when charging, and where quite substantial tax payers funds are being spent for building charging infrastructure to be installed?
Andrew C 287196
Electric vehicles are no better for the environment than normal petrol / diesel cars. In some ways electric vehicles are actually worse. Massive amounts of money is being wasted on the idea. 🙁
Added to the problems are all the gadgets and gizmos (ebikes, escooters, mobile phones, tablets, "smart" this, AI that) which all need constant recharging, plus the enormous amounts of electricity to run the servers, as well as the materials need to make all those batteries.
If you really want an enviromentally-friendly transport option, we should be using Flintstones-style vehicles ... stick your feet through the floor and run along the ground. 😉

Do you think what is marketed as Australian Atlantic Salmon is real Salmon or a fake? Real salmon needs to be able to swim up rivers into lakes etc. to spawn, then shortly after hatching they swim down-stream and out into the oceas where they feed on Natural Foods. The Australian version is farmed, they are kept in what amounts to a cage and fed prepared food which guarantees their flesh is Red or Pink.
Elizabeth T 396096
I am fascinated by the fact that you never see salmon marketed as "Pacific salmon" You always see "Atlantic salmon" sold but Pacific salmon is better.
In general, wild-caught Pacific salmon is often considered healthier than Atlantic salmon, mainly due to its lower fat content, better fatty acid profile, and lower risk of contaminants.

This is a problem that a lot of people have and I'm glad you brought it up.....use a fine needle to release any pressure in the packaging ...then gently remove the top of the packaging with a sharp scalpel....leaving the base and sides...then apply several layers of spray glue (hairspray can be used) and allow it to fully dry before counting..I find that usually works...(and of course when you have finished counting..you can spray them all over with glue and throw them at the walls...family members..and/or people you don't like..) ..if you usually throw them on the floor and just jump on them...give them a light dusting in flour first or they will stick to you feet....

I think everyone is very naive if they think IT will be the gift to humans. Why do we need it to do our housework or open doors or 1000's of other things we humans can do for ourselves. Yes it can be helpful in operations but controlled by humans just the same. SciFi is coming true as whatever man thinks of he will eventually create and giving AI the tools to teach themselves is a dangerous road to take.
I think scary times are ahead in the future with the scientists just going too far. It is already doing more than delivery of Pizza or cleaning etc. People are talking to them as if they are real live humans and some of these robots actually look very close to that.

We had the pleasure of meeting Old Man while on holiday in Victoria staying with family. It was great to see in person someone I knew from playing bingo. I remember many years ago when yahoo had chat rooms there were "chat meets" arranged and many met with fellow chatters. Can anyone see this happening in Rewardia?
BLACK LIVES MATTER
I can't perceive this happening at Rewardia.com - but anything (in time) can be in the realm of possibility.

Do you think reaching out to therapy is worth it? Mental health awareness. So many suffer from depression yet not everyone seeks help (my good friend :(. ) Need advice on how to help someone to go through a rough patch
BLACK LIVES MATTER
Is reaching out for therapy (mental health) - a good idea? YES! Is this individual at the point - that he or she knows that they need to converse with a mental health specialist/professional? Does this individual have a 'health plan' that covers depression? If not, can this individual afford to visit a mental health specialist/professional on a regular basis for 'an extended period of time'?

Although some daily discussions are interesting and promote healthy debate and great exchange of ideas or entertainment, I often wonder how some topics get chosen as "Discussion of the day". What are your thoughts? Do you think they are randomly chosen, actually chosen or something else? Do you think that only topics that promote good discussions or information should be "Discussion of the Day" or are you ok with totally random ones like "Where did my sock go?" or "Do...

Some of the topics do seem rather silly, but it doesn't bother me at all. We can pay them back by making silly comments.

According to a recent Variety magazine statement, the actor felt his approaching age of 81 as an action star was an important factor he wanted to convey for Indy, explaining that he wanted the character to look old and for the film to be highly ambitious in that fact. Ford turns 81 in a few weeks, and in his own word has 'grown up' and 'grown old' with his dear "Indy." "It completes 42 years of work," says Ford, of this emotional moment in his career. "It's a...

I grew up watching Indy and grateful they haven't replaced him. Unlike most Hollywood films that butcher 'originals' to be more PC. Cheers to you Mr Harrison Ford.

We should all have a happy place. A happy place is a situation or activity that makes you happy. For some, it may be when they do art or write. For others, it may be taking a walk, reading a book or perhaps doing online surveys :) What is your happy place?
BLACK LIVES MATTER
I go for a walk (my happy place) - every day (regardless of the weather - but - I reside In Sunny Southern Cailfornia - LOL). I set a fast pace (I walk by myself), I walk in the evening, and I walk for two straight hours. I can literally feel the stress leaving my body.

My son is 2.5 years old and for health reasons we have to keep him out of daycare. This was easy enough when the weather was nice as we would go to the park/beach, but now it's getting cold and rainy we're often stuck inside. What's your go to rainy day activity for little ones?
Gigi
You can also put on rainy day wear and go puddle stomping and for walks with the umbrella. Rain doesn't have to be a sentence to the indoors. Walk an indoor mall. They usually have little people areas to climb on soft big animals or ride a little train or carousel indoors. At least the malls in America have those features. Hopefully there too.

and the biggest racist of all are Christians! Long ago they decided that Jesus was a White, Blonde, Blue-eyed adonis because that is how the Christian Churches depicted him when the Truth is he would have had a Brown skin, possibly a dark tan due to his job as a Carpenter, Black hair and those Beautiful dark, brooding Brown eyes so many, if not all, of those natives of that part of the world have.
I do sometimes wonder if those who make so much noise, complain so much about Racism are not more Racist than those they accuse of being Racist thereby deliberately creating division where no division actually exists.

If you walk down a sidewalk when they fix it, they don t make sure it is level. Store have small lips or steps just before you go into a strip plaza. Malls isles aren t wide enough. Old restaurant do even have to be handicap friendly. How can we fix this problem.

In Armadale we have a shopping centre near us where the whole front pathway of the shops is sloping. It is hairy when trying to negotiate this and feeling like you are going to tip over. One shop in the same suburb is renowned for having boxes and boxes of goods stuck in their aisles. Trying to negotiate this last year, I knocked over a pile of boxes and smashed at least one large ornament and probably more in those boxes. It is so frustrating! Have not been back in there since but have observed from outside the shop that their aisles are slightly better, but far from acceptable yet!. On the other hand my Woolworths in Kelmscott has wide clear aisles free from obstructions. And apart from that, they are always helpful and considerate. Most Woolies shops have the same wide aisles and clear pathways and on behalf of us with wheelchairs, may I say a huge thank you to them. How can we fix the problem - stick all the powers that be in wheelchairs and send them off for a day to shop! Perhaps that might wake them up.
Edit: Wow, I just noticed some of the comments on here and am really gobsmacked! We do not expect perfection, but let me just say that money can be found for many minority groups who are always in the media, we can find money to float a republic, have a debate about putting an first nation voice in parliament, give pay rises to politicians who don't deserve them (some do), and fund hundreds and thousands of dollars worth of fireworks, political lunches and heaps of other selfish causes. But a ramp into a shopping centre or an even entry - wow, aren't we selfish and entitled???!!! Hope some of you don't get to the stage where you face some of the problems we do!

I somewhat recently started listening to one podcast and then more recently decided to add another two to my listening roster, but I'm somewhat disappointed in them, one more than the other. So, I'll probably drop that one that's my least favourite of the three... But I'm interested in finding some more to listen to. So, any suggestions/recommendations? I'd be interested in what others might be listening to because perhaps it's long one that I'd never come across on my own. I'm open...

World War 1 started in Europe. World War 2 started in Europe. Do you see a pattern (history repeats itself)? Ukraine is not a democracy or Ukraine would already be in NATO and European Union. We often hear people talk about the work/life balance. We don't all get the perfect scale when it comes to balancing. How do you ensure you maintain a good balance between the two?
IdentifyAs
Don't make your work your life's priority. Employers don't give a stuff. Do your work diligently and don't take work home. Your own health and wellbeing is more important, and those who you love.

When do you think your age actually changes - is it midnight as you commence the anniversary of your birth, or is it the actual time of your birth on that day? I have often wondered that - but the thing I do know is that birthdays come around quicker and quicker as you age.
Smiley
As someone who was born at 11:20PM, i have always said i only have a 40minute birthday.
That's what my Mum always told me from as young as i can remember, and it's still what i believe today.
My hubby and friends try and convince me the entire day is my birthday, but it is still hard to believe when i was told otherwise my entire life.

The rental crisis in New Zealand & Australia has seen families struggling to find a home, and tenants with a roof over their heads are claiming that they are being treated poorly. Have you been in a situation where your landlord or property manager has failed to meet their obligations to organise repairs within a reasonable time frame, or been in a dispute where you've had to source legal advice?
Bugalugs
If the Federal Government would simply ban all Foreign Investment is Housing and scrap Negative Gearing for All Housing this would, reportedly, open up 10s of 1000s of Houses, Flat etc. for rent. It is also reported that those who own Housing - both Foreign and Australian Residents - deliberately keep their properties un-occupied for Tax Purposes. We hear Politicians, the Unions and others constantly complaining about how Multi-National Corporations pay Little or No Tax on their revenues in Australia - Successive Federal Governments - both ALP and Coalition - have failed to close off the mechanisms these organisations use to avoid paying any Tax. But never a word from any of them about the deliberate, but Legal, rorts, scams, cons - call them what you will, used by Politicians, Union Bosses and others to avoid paying tax on their own Housing Properties which they deliberately keep Un-Tenanted. One Federal ALP MP reportedly has $12 million invested in housing - he conveniently "forgot" to list a $1miilion property in his Asset Disclosure Statement to the Federal Parliament and his mates, both ALP and Coalition, in the very same Parliament did NOTHING.
They won't do anything to put a stop to these scams because they are all up to their necks in this sort of Corruption and are Operating a Protection Racket for themselves.
Faint hope it may, be but maybe the new wave of Independent, so-called Teal - Members of the Federal Parliament - unless they have their snouts in the same trough of Corruption - will force the Albanese ALP Federal Government to actually get off it's self-satisfied, greedy backside and address this issue.

I've noticed for some time... that the people responsible for replacing our street lights... aren't always replacing them all, or there are usually one or two street lights that haven't been replaced when they blow out. It's often left up to the public to complain. I've had to complain in the past...but they don't always seem to listen, as long as there are few lights blazing and not total darkness. I've noticed the same thing happening in numerous streets over the years. Is...
Viola
Here in South Australia, if you are the first person to report a faulty street light and they don't fix it within 10 days you can get a GSL payment of $25. GSL stands for Guaranteed Service Level. We don't seem to have too many problems with street lights around where I live.

I believe that if a country's President or Prime Minister wants to invade another country then they themselves should be sent to the front lines to fight. These Leaders need to do their negotiation verbally rather than physically using their people through war.
Darren S 116121
you should also ask if they should stop the slaughter of the people in yemen by the saudis, personally i think theres a lot more going on than ehat the media tells you, dont get me wrong,i dont think russia should have invaded but theres always more to the story, the first rulke of war is to get the propaganda machine cranked up.
who here now knows that going into Iraq on the false stories of WMD was wrong, killing thousands of Afghanis was wrong, bombing weddings and the like,Look at how libya is now after the wests regime change, what makes you think the west is right about things this time, whats different to make you believe they are telling the truth this time?

I came up with a thought. Why not have a section where people could write a review of various forms of media such as a film, TV show, book, music album or a video (music, short film, a viral video, etc). For example, people could pick a topic and a title, like a new release movie and write a critical review of it along with a rating out of five stars and if they recommend it or not. This could come under the FORUMS section or GAME COMMENTS...

I already spend far too much time with Rewardia as it is! My only wish is that I was not "screened out" so often from surveys as soon as I enter my Age - That is Not Rewardia's fault as they run the surveys for the companies which seem to think that once one reached a certain Age our opinions, ideas etc. are no longer valid, despite our "Life Experience"!

Australian gas companies are potentially going to force up gas-prices in Australia. Despite creating enough gas, they prefer to export much of it to foreign nations. Forcing up the prices higher in our region ... Australia ... and NZ. Should the federal government intervene to prevent price hiking?
Maria B 89860
Yes, we should look after our own needs, we have a lot of poor people here as well who need to cook for their families and keep them warm. A lot of it is being "donated" to hostile parts and they are laughing at us while we scrummage to eek out a living and pay top price for EVERYTHING!

Some parents don't monitor what there children watch and read, what do you think? cause I think it's proper. Our duty as parents is to monitor the PG rating of what our children watch or read, because sometimes what they watch and read control's there behavior and character. So I am just curious to see what other parents and people think?
Laurie I
Yes definitely. There are individuals out there who deliberately target young people. Part of growing up is being guided in what is essential in a healthy environment both physically and mentally. It is essential that there is mature input into what young fertile minds are fed. Unfortunately in this highly technical age a lot of adults have been left behind and are at a loss in monitoring what our young ones have access to

We have problems with people sneaking across state borders or lying on their declarations. Three ladies have now brought Covid 19 back into our State after visiting a city which is a massive hot spot. I would actually charge them with manslaughter if anyone dies because of their actions.
Sandra C 12043
Just so happy to live in a state thas has closed borders even if Vics are still trying to get in illegally. Why can't they stay in their own state ??
Those 3 women should be charged regardless and if their actions kill someone then they should be charged with manslaughter.

I have 2. Went my son's were born. That feeling you get when you first hear the little yell they give. It's like they are saying hello world I'm here, well screaming hello world I'm here. So many emotions and thoughts flooded my head. Happiness was the dominant feeling at those moments.

is it the points, or the brain activity you go for? Im for both and go for either. What is the most points in one month for anyone?
mary c
That is a question i rather frequently ask myself- particularly this evening after working through a green survey, completing and submitting- then to be told i hadn't completed it!! do we do these surveys to get frustrated! truly it is for the points and some money..but i do really enjoy connecting with everyone on the forums and seeing other people's comments..i like the games but wish more points could be earned..i work for ages doing the addictive 10x10 puzzle- over an hour- points not much. Whinge over- i am addicted to Rewardia and am on it every night

On Saturday 21st August 2021, regional Victoria listened to the news at 11am only to be told we are going BACK into lockdown from 1pm that day. That is just 2 hours notice of a lockdown... I feel sorry for restaurant owners who had bought a whole heap of fresh food to serve to customers over this weekend only to be told "Hey mate, you have to throw out thousands of dollars more in food" and then receive a measly compensation which DOES...

The thing that bothers ME most about lockdowns is the proliferation of dimwits that think it doesn't apply to them!

Do you find as you get older you lose more friendships? If so why does this seem to happen? I recently turn 30, I used to have lots of friends in my 20s but now as i grow older i have less. I may not have as many now but the ones that I do have are basically like my family. Maybe we lose friends over years as there not really true friends to begin with? Would love to hear if this happen to other and some secrets in keeping friendships
Brian 511603
I had more friends in my 20s Noe I have a handful and they are truly close and trusted
The numbers are no longer important it's the quality

What policy wishes or policy changes do you want from Political Parties. What do you wish for from Government.
Edward S 497347
In early 2020, the government added salt to the wound of pensioners by giving the unemployed people the "Pandemic Supplement" which doubled the dole payments to $1100 a fortnight for several months, thus being MORE than the average pensioner; AND the government DID NOT give pensioners any "Pandemic Supplement" payments.
Although that salt in the wound made the wound sting, in late 2020, when pensioners were due for another pay rise, the government opened that wound, poured more salt onto it, then rubbed that salt into the wound by REFUSING to give pensioners that payment increase which they were entitled to receive.
Although that additional salt rubbed into the pensioners wound had infected the wound, the government decided that they have NOT caused enough harm to the pensioners and decided to add even more salt to the infected wound by adding insult by announcing in March 2021 that single pensioners will receive a payment increase of $8-40 a fortnight ( $4-20 a week )....which barely buys a cup of coffee.

A lucid dream is a dream in which the dreamer is aware that they are dreaming. The numbers vary, but between 51% to 82% of people report experiencing a lucid dream at least once.
Bugalugs
Yes,, often, I am aware I am dreaming but at the same time I wake up and my dream has been so realistic and attached to my life as it is that when I wake up I sometimes have to ask myself "Was I dreaming or was this real?" A bit confusing some times and at other times when I realise I was just dreaming I am very, very grateful!

I ask this, because many phones, computers and, even, some businesses are doing away with passwords and are moving towards fingerprint scanning, iris scanning and chip scans. They claim it's more secure, but I still prefer to use a password, because I find the other new technologies a bit concerning. What are your thoughts about all of this?
Edward S 497347
I was once hacked years ago when I had my businesses. The police told me that one method most used by hackers is entering people's computers through their MSN...ICQ or YAHOO messengers ....The police advised me to delete all messengers from my computer ..... When I was hacked I was hacked on MSN messenger whilst unknowingly chatting to the person who hacked me, whilst she was in my computer sending copies of my business files to everyone on my friend's list

I know many do not have a father, unfortunately, some do not even have a father figure in their life..but I thought it would be nice for us to talk about our fathers or a father figure in our lives. My dad has done a lot for me. My mom is now better (Thank God), but when I was growing up, she was ill a lot. Which, called for my dad to step up many times and fill both roles for my siblings and I. This all as he juggled a job and cared for my mother. Next, comes my brother,...
Naf
My father has lived in the same house but I've barely talked to him because he would always show anger for no reason and out of nowhere. So that made me distant from him. He also enabled my mom's abuse.

Easter buns of course as popular and often hit the shelves after Christmas. Should buns, without the cross, be available to purchase all year round?
Dion B 434033
What a crazy idea, next people will want chocolate to be sold all year round... ohh wait.... Plus think of all the money shops would lose out on. After all cant charge a ridiculous amount because its 'only available for a short time" PS super markets and bakerys out there, feel free to leave the cross of my bun and save me a few bucks a packet

Do you listen to songs in other languages? These being languages that you do not speak or understand well (need a translation for). I personally, enjoy listening to songs sung in Aramaic, Russian and Serbian Slavic. Unlike some of my constituents, I do find the interpretation or translation of the song in a language I do understand.
Maria S 460525
i have heard some beautiful Latino songs, I don't understand the words but the way the music flows is just awesome, and having visited Japan some of the songs I heard are pretty cool too. You really don't have to know the words to appreciate the music/songs..

I love to shop, I love to look at new things that are brought out on the market and I like to get this at a great price. Are you one to wait for specials or do you just buy it because it's trending?
Ben A 400386
Me like to buy cheap things on very good special at shop and eat it before it goes out of date. This is usually the same day I buy it.
Me have to eat it very fast.

Should children be permitted to be executors to their parents will? The nominated ones often help themselves to a 'bit extra' as executors fees, which may be legal but not necessarily fair.
Priscilla R 316016
It is so hard sometimes as you bring your children up to be fair and honourable and it is so hard to see what the $$$ signs can do to some of them at times. Trust certainly goes out the window with those that are done wrong.

When boys are in an environment with other boys only. They take on a "pack mentality" and don t know how to relate to girls and women. I think co-ed schools are the smarter option. They help raise boys to become decent men.
Bugalugs
No apologies, Johana C but I thinkyour ideas are nonsense. I went to an all boys school and if anything, thanks to the plethora of paedophile teachers - including female ones, who were the biggest bullies of all - we came out as misandrists. Yes, in some ways Co-ed schools are better but let us not forget that girls can be every bit as cruel, nasty, vindictive - especially towards other girls - Their bullying techniques have, somehow, been developed into an art which is passed down from one year to the next and they take that through to their adult lives.
Both demales and males will develop into decent Women and Men if they have the example set for them by their parents. Sadly today Parents would rather rake in buckets loads of money - half of which they waste on After School Care for THEIR children - than actually rearing THEIR children themselves. So children come out of school knowing nothing more than how to bully and are set to be misogynists and misandrists their entire lives.

Did they live up to your expectations? I've met Geoffrey Rush and Rutger Hauer (now deceased). The latter was a better experience than the former. It's best not to idolize anyone full stop because we are all human beings.
Helen A 395807
Shaun Micaulef: brilliant, discerning and humble bloke. We had a brief chat at a small newsstand in Melbourne's CBD. His intelligence shone through his eyes intensely. He is also extremely handsome in real life. I was at Edward's Lake (Melbourne Vic) for a Labor Party rally with my parents as a kid. It rained so the venue had to be held indoors and the Great Gough nodded as he walked by. That man had the most powerful presence I have ever come across. What a man!

What do you think of Daylight-saving? Some countries have it, and some don't. Some states, territories, in Australia have it. Some people seem to either love it, or hate it! I think its a bit too long, at least in Australia. I would shorten it by a month, as it gets to dam hot in some parts of country. How does it affect you, if at all? Do you become more happier, or .....moodier?
Graham I
Not applicable in WA; our Premier thinks the sun shines from his bum and he won't get up an hour earlier for anyone!! :-)

People think violent movies and video games cause real life violence. But I have to disagree. The majority of people who watch a violent film, don't go out and hurt or kill people. They watch the film, turn it off and then get on with their lives.
APB
I don't know why anyone wants to watch them in the first place...even that is very disturbing..you can make terrifying films without anyone getting killed, it just takes someone with some true skill and ability.

As this 2020 has been very difficult for most of us, Christmas presents can be a little bit challenging for our pockets. Are you going to buy less and cheaper gifts this year?
Judy CH
Yes, we were defrauded of $53,500 so it is hard enough buying the bare necessities let alone being extravagant, can't even afford to buy and post Christmas cards

I found it really helped me with my anxiousness. I also used it for headaches. It s a great natural medicine. Have you tried it? What was your experience?

I don't wear glasses but no doubt sometime in the future I'll need them. I'll enjoy my eyesight in the meantime.
Christina D
About 14 or 15 I think. I'd had trouble seeing when I was in primary school but every time I had an eye test, they said I was fine. Turns out the optometrist needed glasses himself and had been reading the results wrong for years. A lot of kids needed glasses in the years following that

I don't understand why people still have home phones in 2020? I gave up mine decades ago. Dealing with my cell phone is enough. Without having to deal with a home phone too. It makes no sense
Philip D
Couldn't give up my home phone. How would Michelle from the NBN be able to contact me on a regular basis to advise that my land line will be cut off in 24 hours. Poor kid would be out of a job.

It sounds mean but I steer clear of partners that snore. I don't want to be woken up in the middle of the night by someone gasping for breath. I understand it's not their fault. They can find another partner to put up with it. Have you ever slept with a snorer?
Phyrephly
I've slept with the same snorer my parents sleep with: Charlie (Heinz59er, dog), is the loudest sleeper; he snores, farts, barks, yips, grunts, growls, yelps, and even sleepwalks! My parents thought he was possessed the first night he was in the house. But he does like the ladies, and enjoys his nightly cuddles. certainly didn't get much of those in the house he was rescued from (RSPCA save). Making up for it now tho'.

Remote work is here to stay for most people. At least until they find a vaccine for the Coronavirus. Everyone is trying to find a way to make money online. And so many people are turning to eCommerce. Will you be trying new online ventures to bring in cash?
Katzeye
If you can dream it then you can do it!..I make Jewellery as a wee side line hobby/business, which I sold though a local shop until covid hit!!!! so my goal for next year is to get my business up and running online.
