Succulents and cacti don't usually root very deep so I like to put them in med. to large dishes that are 2 or 3 inhes deep. Then I will decoate around them with things that seem desert-like (a dried out stick for a log, some bones,a little lizard etc.) Most of these things can be found in craft stores or the kjds section of places like Walmart. They look great as centre pieces on a large dinner table or coffee table. Theyalso look very nice in a bathroom (just make sure you find out if they can survive in a room that is often steamy and wet).
