I never had toys like this. Born during WW2 I had a second hand doll with clothes knitted by my mum and nana from unravelled jumpers. One Christmas I got a book and a teddy my granddad won in a raffle. Later I got new clothes for presents. I cannot believe how much is spent on children by parents who complain about the cost of living. The children often believe they are entitled to whatever they demand
