Wow ,nothing so scary as that . The sleeping Arabs at Tehran airport with their turbans were a bit of a shock as an 11yr old from down under I would say ,, apart from that I was suprised in Fiji at having to say Bula ( hello) to everyone basically from the airport security ,cleaners ,police in their long skirts ... everyone! At first I was getting exhausted from it a bit . And they will eyeball you coming your way too so you don't miss the opportunity. Kids waving out of the buses with no windows iin them while you're driving next to them "Bula !" ,, When I got back here I missed it, I walked past someone in my own street ,they just looked down kept walking by .. usual city behaviours ..

It's the New year and the Misandry Campaign is, once again, off and running.
We hear, endlessly, about how Horrible, how Distrustful, how Devious, how Abusive, how Misogynistic men are. They are no longer allowed to express an opinion, they must never, ever dare to say they don't like some female, their clothes, their botoxed faces, artificially pumped up lips - the list of what men must not do and how cruel, unfeeling and hurtful they are is endless and on-going
BUT we never, ever hear, or rather are never allowed to hear that Females can be every bit as bastardly as any male BUT challenge them and they will claim they are "Exercising THEIR Right to Freedom of Speech and Expression"!
No apologies but Christina C's statement is typical misandrist nonsense, men are no more, nor less, likely to have ulterior motives than any woman.

Absolutely - You can't let them get away with bad behaviour or they will take full advantage of it and you! Let them know you are in charge and should be respected. If their parents don't like you disciplining them, they don't have to leave them with you. And they probably leave them with you because they can't control them and hope you will teach them some respect.

The VA Hospital isn't in Australia it is Boston USA.
Successive Federal, State and Territory Governments in Australia have been deliberately starving Australia's entire Health System of fundes for decades. It doesn't matter if they are from the Right or Left of politics. The Federal Government only wants to sqwuander untold hundreds of billions on Armaments and other Military equipment to "Protect Australia from foreign invasion" - they never actually tells us whom it is who is threatening Australia. The totally absurd thing about all this squandering of all that money, yes I know it is minuscule compared to the US and China, is that all of this equipment will be completely obsolete before any of it actually becomes operational! These absurd governments - since when does a country with just 26 million people need ONe Federal, 6 State & 2 Territory Governments?
All are now hell-bent on squandering even more billions on Space Exploration! As if they haven't, along with all the rest of the World's Politicians, made a big enough mess of our World without doing the same to others.
Spend all that money on Housing, Health and Education and stop warmongering. It is our Politicians and Religious Leaders who have been, and still are, responsible for All the Wars which have ever been waged.
Decent, Honest, Ordinary people want no part of those wars, yet they are the ones who are sent out to fight and die for the wars the politcians have deliberately, and are at present trying to create.

If the Federal Government would simply ban all Foreign Investment is Housing and scrap Negative Gearing for All Housing this would, reportedly, open up 10s of 1000s of Houses, Flat etc. for rent. It is also reported that those who own Housing - both Foreign and Australian Residents - deliberately keep their properties un-occupied for Tax Purposes. We hear Politicians, the Unions and others constantly complaining about how Multi-National Corporations pay Little or No Tax on their revenues in Australia - Successive Federal Governments - both ALP and Coalition - have failed to close off the mechanisms these organisations use to avoid paying any Tax. But never a word from any of them about the deliberate, but Legal, rorts, scams, cons - call them what you will, used by Politicians, Union Bosses and others to avoid paying tax on their own Housing Properties which they deliberately keep Un-Tenanted. One Federal ALP MP reportedly has $12 million invested in housing - he conveniently "forgot" to list a $1miilion property in his Asset Disclosure Statement to the Federal Parliament and his mates, both ALP and Coalition, in the very same Parliament did NOTHING.
They won't do anything to put a stop to these scams because they are all up to their necks in this sort of Corruption and are Operating a Protection Racket for themselves.
Faint hope it may, be but maybe the new wave of Independent, so-called Teal - Members of the Federal Parliament - unless they have their snouts in the same trough of Corruption - will force the Albanese ALP Federal Government to actually get off it's self-satisfied, greedy backside and address this issue.
