quite the opposite, I discovered my siblings were all "accidents" but I was actually planned. However, I do wonder, as both my parents had wry senses of humour, so they may have given that story to the others.. and sworn them to secrecy as I was.

The mini ones were the most popular , people would want them still warm out of the oven ! I have to have my baked cheesecakes cold ! I used to make up a Berry mix using frozen blackberries, raspberries and strawbs and blueberries.. put a good spoonful of sugar over them and zap it for a minute or 2 in the microwave. So they still hold the shape but are nice and glossy. Then when the cheesecake is just about ready , l put some of this in the middle and return to the oven for a few minutes more.Even fancier I would sometimes add some rosewater or rose syrup to the berries in summertime. Thanks for the reminder , it's pretty much the same as my filling too ;)

I know you don't 'earn' a lot from playing the games but what games do you find, give the most points? I also find there is no consistency with the points awarded, one day you can get 10 point, then get the same score the next day (same game) and only get 4.
PatCat

Everyone watching what's happening in the Ukraine the South China Sea the Korean Peninsula and the Middle East with Iran.? Seems that globalisation hasn't quite worked out as one would have hoped. Do you see any parallels with any nations and their political ideology of the 1940s The oppression, the mass murder prosecutions torture...

There will be a third world war. It has to happen before the US falls and the new world order starts again. It's all written in the script and unfolding just as the elites want it to. Unless we all stand and say no. But since their rehearsal to this was COVID and pretty much everyone fell for it, they know they can roll it out with no resistance.

The oranges are hard as they are not ripe. The teenagers picked them on their side and then hurled them onto my and my neighbours...

What do you think about Labor trying to change theuse of our Super at the moment? We were promised something and now they are proposing changing what the use is for, changing the rules that we all were promised and have abided by. Is this fair?
Pato Lo Duck
I didn't see you complaining when the Liberals capped the tax-free threshold super balance a few years ago.. The cap at the moment is 1.7 mil. Points on this site for surveys can be exceedingly generous - I have seen surveys worth 1000 points which is great, however what is annoying there are some surveys that will give you a small portion like 5 points for trying the maximum for red surveys is 50 points if you don't meet the requirements. If people don't meet the requirements for that survey they should be at least compensated for a minimum of 10 points or 20 for taking the time. Members of the community...

Both. Parents need to guide kids but kids should also be responsible. Sometimes it's neither. Here's a couple of points to consider:
*Age is a factor as well though because children under a certain age lack a lot of insight. They could easily (depending on personality type) be influenced by some naughty kids or sinister people depending on who they're exposed to.
*Sometimes parents do everything in their power to shield kids from the harmful things in the world but their kids still end up in difficult situations for whatever reason.
*Genetics also plays a part. Do we blame the parents or the parents parents? I don't think it's fair to blame people for genetics because they can't help the way they're born.
At the end of the day it boils down to education and making smart decisions, good values, self esteem and inner strength: sometimes smart people make dumb decisions for whatever reason, maybe insecurity? Maybe carelessness or complacency? Sometimes people who mostly do right end up in bad situations. Sometimes disciplined people with high self esteem end up on drugs as well. If people make smart decisions, fully understand the impact of substances on their bodies, are secure in themselves, have good values and have inner strength then all these factors will help people make good decisions. Furthermore teaching all of that to a child is easier said than done, every kid is different and there is no manual for raising kids so to a degree it's up to us to teach ourselves (parents or guardians) so we can teach better because we (kids and parents) can't always rely on people to give us the best advice (boils down to smart decisions and sometimes luck).

After just seeing the discussion about fast drivers it reminded me about something I've been wanting ask for a long time. Which in your opinion is more dangerous, the fast drivers or the really slow drivers who hold everyone up? Fast drivers are dangerous due to the excessive speed yes and they will lose control of their vehicle and hurt other motorists, etc. The really slow drivers are just as dangerous causing frustration for the motorists behind them, specially when they...

vision issue - don't drive - my guess would be fast drivers (more impact when hitting another car or pedestrian)

Come on! Rewardia! Reinstate some decent points for Games! or have you given so many to US members that you have none left for the rest of the world. Believe it, or not, the World DOES exist outside the borders of the USA. If you look into the time and distance that has to come from outside our Solar system, distance is roughly 4 light years plus away. My imagination, or noted facts ?

And you never know when you're going to be cheated and robbed of points on a red survey. Serve me right for thinking I'd get get full points upon 100% completing a survey. How is it that I don't qualify when I've fully completed a survey, given my political views, and spent all that time working on the survey. Why do these people waste our time? Can't they assess at the outset whether they want our response? Am I peeved? More than, and Rewardia never ever takes our side and let alone going out to bat for us. And all for a few piddling cents. Climate change = votes. Win or lose, politicians will play the emissions game.
In Europe some countries shut down their coal plants and nuclear energy plants in favor of renewables and imported energy from Russia (all in the name of reducing emissions). Now, after Russia invaded Ukraine, Europe has stopped importing energy from Russia.
Guess what, they don't have enough energy to provide power from their renewables, so they are starting up the coal plants and nuclear energy plants again.
As soon as people get hungry or cold, they lose their concerns about climate change.

I kid you not, I have never spoken to a real person at Facebook. It's all bots and generic messages and emails. It's disgusting, with all the money they make, they should provide customer service. It's the least they can do.
Carmel C 103964
Absolutely love Facebook...and despise a few things that the admins are really crap at. FB has opened up my world and let me communicate really easily with all my family and friends who are scattered around the world. IT has linked me to many groups which I use daily. It saves me time and allows access to so much that benefits ALL my hobbies.
Yes I hate some things about Facebook BUT there are far more good things about it than bad though.
Lately I've been reporting fake business accounts who are trying to scam people...and only getting automated replies that fail to fix the issue. Replies that tell me the fake accounts aren't breaking any of their rules! What the!!!!!!
So I have had to take it upon myself to start posting warnings in the Newsfeeds. It is greater than disappointing that Facebook is choosing to treat the real businesses and their Followers like that.
Will Facebook survive without better customer service? Yes, it will....but not in a manner that the Facebook admins want it to

You need to differentiate between being famous because you have achieved something noteworthy (invention/discovery/etc) or just "famous" with some sort of celebrity because you have so many followers on Twitter etc.

The worse when you click on a survey for 5 mins, then says its 20 mins instead, last night I clicked on a 5 mins survey, finished answering them and instead of getting rewarded it took me to another survey of 15 mins, I logged off, I try to stick to short surveys instead of wasting my time, if I knew I would get rewarded faithfully I will do 30 mins if I had too, sometimes you get better rewarded for playing games.

Huh? You are just now realizing that success in finances leads to higher taxes and higher prices because now you can afford the taxes and prices. Did you also know tht most stores will move the fresh new stock from the front to the back of the shelves? I learned that trick as a lad from my Mama and to this day, I never take from the front and if there is only one or two of the item left, I will read the use by dates. If the use by date only just expired it is still good for a month or more depending on the type of item. I get rent rebate refunds in PA and already since that amt is almost $800 USD, my landlord is hinting at jumping my rent up from $700 a month to $950 a month! Why? Because although 3 years agao I only got refunds of $500 USD now I get close to $800 USD. The laws of supply and demand. Read a marketing textbook!
