i think we only seen the the opening season of the china virus,if you look at history theses things take a turn for the worse in their second and third years,i also think that governments are going to push for even more control over you and what you do

Really cannot say what 2021 will look like as life is so unpredictable. However, I am hoping for peace, riddance of covid19 and spending time with my family and close friends.

I can't predict for tomorrow, how can I predict for all 2021. I can only hope that new year would be better, because I am optimist.

A second wave of COVID shutting all Australian boarders through our winter months. International travel not fully returning until 2022. Until everyone learns too work together we will have many more cases of COVID and more deaths, until a vaccine is available for all. Those coming back from overseas should be quarantined for longer than two weeks if they could be trusted to do this at home, but only takes one or two ruin for all the country. Think its going to be more of the same that we have seen in 2020. No-one knows if the vaccine will work effectively or only partially, or how many more mutations might happen. I do know that the country can't keep throwing money at its citizens like they have been doing, but the yo-yo border openings and closings will have to stop for everyone's sake. Eventually people will refuse to follow what the Premiers ask/request/demand and that usually leads to anarchy. Think the coming year is going to be very unpredictable over all.

I don't know if it will happen in 2021 as no man knows the day nor the hour when the son of man comes, but we do know that the God of heaven shall set up a kingdom that shall never be destroyed, and it will break in pieces and consume all other kingdoms and it shall stand forever Daniel 2 verse 44. I think when it's time to make projections of the future, we cannot help but look to the stars above. i.e. Space. COVID-19 Is going to play a major role in 2021 and many more people will die as vaccinating everyone world wide is going to take a very long time. Our borders will remain closed to tourists and compulsary quarantine for those returning to NZ will remain for at least another year. The positive thing is that all the touristy places won't be cluttered with tourist buses, camper vans and crowds of people. We can enjoy them as they are meant to be enjoyed. I hope more New Zealanders will take the opportunity to explore our lovely country while we have the chance. COVID has brought out the good, the bad and the ugly in mankind. I hope we learn some very valuable lessons on how we should respect the natural world and learn to live in harmony with it. Hopefully the vaccine for covid is successful and the required percentage of the population get it done. We don’t need this hanging around ruining the wonderful world we live in Hopefully as well trade will return to normal and the forecast for the next year is wrong and things will continue to do very well. I’m nor really happy about all the close contact in New Zealand’s hot spots over the Xmas break. But that is very selfish of me because I lost my job during the beginning of covid because I was a vulnerable person. But it did wake me up and made me realise that I was very vulnerable because I don’t have an Immunity system which put me at a disadvantage so I chose to get out of the race track before I lost the race. Retirement is great but I do miss the company that I saw each day. But that’s a very small sacrifice and a selfish one. Stay safe and keep well all you people out there.

Hopefully people who lost jobs will get employed, but rather hard when those jobs aren't out there. Now the benefit has been cut will cause lots of heartache to the genuine ones out there who depend on it to survive & apply for every job going and still cannot find employment.:( If you want to cut something take it off the Dole Bludgers who should never been put in the same category as people who lost their jobs. WRONG! I worry how those geniuine people are going to pay their bills. As far as the vaccine goes, it hasn't been properly tested yet so we take a risk getting it. Big worry there?. Glad Australia is holding off for 6 months maybe by then results will come in to say if it is safe for us. Think we will be in for more wild weathr conditions unfortunately.

Who knows. Maybe more devastating natural events, more Covid heartache, social unrest, world unrest or hopefully Covid will be controlled, no natural disasters and the worlds leaders will pull their heads in and people will stop marching in protest for every little thing. Walking the streets does nothing. Everyone seems intent on these marches screaming abuse and or their views but nothing positive seems to comes from this useless activity. Baby steps can bring about change much quicker. I hope 2020 brings people closer throughout the world but somehow I doubt it. I think we are in for more pain.

Very little difference in the first six months, hopefully thereafter it may start to improve as hopefully we will all had our vaccine shots. Still need people to do the right thing in the meantime. Can only hope for the best.

That believer in miracles person in Canberra, who's name I cannot bring myself to use, told us with regard to Covid19: "We are all in this together" Then stuck the boot into the Victorian Premier when Victoria went into the 2nd Wave. He kept on heaping praise on the NSW Premier. When when the boot was on the other foot this total hypocrite, when asked about tyhe 2nd Wave of Covid19 in NSW, said "I do not comment on State matters"! Things will get worse. Our politicians will grant themselves a 7% pay rise amounting to a minimum of $14,000 each and more. Unemployment will stay around ONE Million and more, there are NO Jobs out there and the absurd Minister for Employment will cut Uneployment Benefits and tell the Million-plus Enemployed "The best thing you can do is go out and get a job!" I think similar to 2020 until most nations have given the vaccine. Then like the flu a few deaths a year.

We can't predict the future but we can have hopes and dreams. Mine is for everyone to stay safe and for me personally to have less pain so I can feel useful again.

My view is that we all need to be resilient and "expect the unexpected". Whatever happens take what is positive and make the best use of that.

I predict that there will be a volcanic eruption in the months of April and May 2021. Lol.

Because Australia is less densely populated and an island nation, combined with the best of the vaccines we should be on top of things by midyear. Countries which are a step ahead with contact tracing in place as a carry over from the previous Sars outbreaks will also do well. The current vaccines will improve things a bit but there will be improvements in the vaccines over the next two years. I feel it will be at least two years before live gets back to something like normal. Most likely a new normal will evolve. Thinking and praying for all humanity.

I reside in the USA. The vaccine was develop without the normal protocols in place - which makes minorities in the USA hesitate to take the vaccine - (the racial history of medical advances in the USA is not pleasant)! The virus (pandemic),since it's arrival in the USA - has mutant - twice (not a good sign) - the second time - days a go! The pandemic (world wide - since it's discovery in China, has mutant in England, South Africa, and the USA (since its original discovery) - in these countries has mutant - twice). It's very hard to predict - the covid won't go away I'd like to see the international borders reopened but people from Asia who visit must go into 4 weeks quarantine at their own expense.
