Discussion of the Day
We have Christmas sorted..what happens to New Year?
APBDec 31, 21
Most of the planet seems to be saying "its OK... happy Christmas" and then slamming the door again on boxing day....in Australia we are opening up the door to a massive flood of covid...with a fair bit of enthusiasm...New Years Eve massive super spreader parties and celebrations could be the turning point when every part of Australia looks like the developing mess in NSW...are we all ready for this?...is it too late to exercise a bit of common sense?....

Why are everyone worried about this covid business? I know it is serious, but for heaven sake, use your brains and common sense, stop worrying, and stop listening to all the Fauci's out there. Worry will only get you in the grave faster. Big Phama loves all the worriers as they are making Billions from people, and will never let it go as long as we listen to them.

I'm enjoying the quiet pace of life while in my retirement years now.

I had my rowdy party days and enjoyed them but now I stay home and chill and that was even before Covid. We will be staying in tonight, eating some popcorn and watching "Wheel of Time" on Netflix. I have to stay close to my Rottweiler. He has PTSD and the fireworks and gunshots send him over the edge.

It's all about personal responsibility. If you don't want to go out then don't. If you are afraid of people then stay away from them. I am not about to hide in my home and stop living because frankly I have already lost 2 years and I don't know how many more years I have left, and certainly not enough to sit and watch the world go by. I am out but being wary, watching what I touch and who I stand close to. I won't shake hands and I don't like touch screens or using someone else's pen. I have plenty of hand sanitizer which I use when out, more when I get into my car, wash my hands as soon as I get home and I don't touch my face while I'm out so I hate having to adjust my mask or wipe my nose which runs when I wear one. I went shopping on Boxing Day and apparently someone was positive everywhere I went, but I'm pretty sure I wasn't close to any of them. Do we ever really know how many people have the flu each year? Not everyone goes to the doctor so I'm sure the number is higher than that recorded. We can't keep locking down because every time we open up the virus will just spread again. So my advice for what it's worth is to stop worrying but stay alert, don't shake hands, don't touch other peoples plates or glasses, if you go to an eating place make sure they have wiped the table down, carry wipes or hand sanitizer with you and just remember EVERYONE may possibly have Covid so you can never be too careful. You never know, you may never catch it.

There is hope on the way Moira with a new drug in use in America for people at risk at the moment and hopefully will be rolled out eventually for everyone, and a chewing gum is being trailed that neutralizes the virus in the mouth thus preventing it's spread.

It's the media pushing for rules. The media wanted masks worn, so they were mandated. The media wanted a lockdown, we were locked down. Lisa Wilkinson wanted a curfew, we got a curfew. When the cases started to rise the media wanted masks and QR codes back so back they came. Now the media wants another lockdown but both the NSW Premier and the Qld health spokesman have said "no", and good on them. I am sick to death of the media scaring the daylights out of people. I turned off months ago and now I have even turned 2GB off because they are droning on about how the PM should have planned and the premier should have planned. Planned what exactly? Who knew this would happen? Who knew infected people would refuse to stay at home and go out clubbing? Are they supposed to have a crystal ball or something. I'm an adult and I can behave responsibly and I want to get on with my life.

Yep common sense has gone out the window with a govt who is more concerned about the next election than the health of the Australian people. The new rule changes are absolute bullshit and have no basis in science, purely politics to hide the real number of covid cases. Rapid tests are an important tool, but the lack of a mechanism to report the +ve cases detected by rapid tests smacks of the desire to cover up the true number of cases. The 4 hour exposure rule and household only as close contacts is absolute, unscientific, political rubbish.

In recent years Australia's reputation for being a Fair, Caring, Compassionate, Welcoming place - in fact the Envy of the World has been destroyed. It all started with ex-PM and dumped MP John Howard and his then side-kick-Immigration Minister-now-PM Scott Morrison very ably assisted by ex-Queensland cop Peter Dutton when they decided they did not want anyone seeking Refuge or Asylum in Australia unless they were White, preferably Anglo-Saxon, and Christian. They imprisoned Innocent Men, Women and Children in their off-shore Concentration Camps - just as the Nazis did with most of their Labour and Death Camps. - out of sight of the vast majority of Australians who are still Decent, Caring Compassionate, Welcoming Human Beings.

We all want to assist refugees, there are thousands in camps waiting to come into Australia. Unfortunately, those who choose to jump the queue by coming in by boat are making these poor souls wait so much longer. Idiots who rant and rave about these people being unfairly treated don't seem to care about those waiting to come in, you know the ones, the real refugees. Not people with money who can pay someone to bring them here by boat and flaunt the system. I think you should have a look at how those waiting to come in the front door are being treated by the likes of those trying to get in the back door.

We have had 130 cases of Covid in Toowoomba recently, I must say I felt safer when the boarders were shut. That is the most we have ever had on a single day since the pandemic began. Having our booster soon fingers crossed we didn't get the virus in the mean time and well New Years will be spent the same way as Christmas at home isolating from the hoards. Any one else starting to feel like a prisoner in their own home? It's just not safe to leave for any thing. Thanks Scott Morrison for making us feel that way, you should be a shamed Oh and by the way Happy New Year.

That's what viruses do, they mutate, especially when you put pressure on the virus which occurs when you vaccinate during a pandemic. As we in Australia are using PCR tests to determine that somebody is carrying "something ", using a test that the US, WHO and another large country which I'm not 100% sure is the one I'm thinking of so I won't say it, but we are testing for a "molecule", that's ALL, using a test NEVER designed to be used to diagnose ANYTHING, with a 97% FALSE POSITIVE rate on a population that ISN'T being told tests for NO virus! So the US and the WHO have come out and stated, as did the inventor of the PCR test, deceased now, state that it just tests for a molecule, that we now have 1000's of Australians getting "tested" using a clinically useless product that has identified "COVID " in flowers, fruit and ham sandwiches! PLEASE! WHY are you living in fear and listening to the MSM encourage you to continue to live in a state of fear? Michael Creighton, author of Jurassic Park, wrote a great book called just that, about how a state of fear is used as a control mechanism to encourage obedience and compliance from a population who will do literally ANYTHING in order to feel "safe", even trading their freedoms for this elusive state of being. If you don't have symptoms WHY THE HELL are you buying INTO this! You were right though at the beginning: herd immunity, but this is ONLY possible if everyone gets a virus naturally and develops natural immunity that way. Any experimental gene therapy shot under emergency authorisation isn't going to cut it, even 3 or 4 or 5 or more! You might disagree with me but I can direct you to the facts if you're prepared to examine them.

I think the next round of elections in Australia, NZ, GB and USA are gonna be of the, "long knives", variety. A little too late for damage already done, but it'll be good to see the 'pozers' go - to prison, mainly - possibly even the 'gallows, or equivalent - for what they've put the entire planet through.

I'm afraid that I feel we are going to be seeing and hearing a LOT more from these psychopaths that have so much blood on their hands that they're literally swimming in it! Are you familiar at all with the World Economic Forum and the "Great Reset", which is what this whole plandemic is about? Or the UN's "Agenda 21 now 2030? If not you might be interested to know how close we are to a global government whose 'l leaders think we are "useless eaters" and can't wait for the death toll to climb exponentially. I'm deadly serious, there will come a time very soon when those who either haven't had a shot at all, like myself, or those who have taken their original 2 and a booster, which is exactly the same dose as the first 2, but due to poor health or they just don't want to take anymore shots, will find themselves out of work, unable to go and even purchase food and essentials, have money from their bank accounts taken and have their mobile phones switched off. I WISH I was being over the top but I'm not. Australia has purchased 14 shots for every man, woman and child in Australia, 2 "boosters" per year for 7 years. Does that make you feel comforted? It makes me FURIOUS! There's a lot of information over at Bitchute that might interest you! Thanks for replying and a Happy New Year to you and yours.

They certainly don't realise that the Drs have been ordered NOT to give ANY information on the fact that these jabs aren't "vaccines " to begin with, in the traditional sense, and that a Dr can lose their AAPRA registration, medical licence, if they start sharing facts. I watched one Australian working Dr being interviewed, NOT on MSM, and she was asked her opinion on these jabs and she said "I'm afraid that I cannot give an opinion" then proceeded to read out the contents of the letter she had recieved which indicated that she would comply with the government edicts or else she was at risk of losing her job and livelihood, but however the retired Dr could share HIS true feelings, which were aligned with my own. I know AAPRA because I was an RN and had my registration with them too, and although I am unable to work due to a physical disability, now I couldn't possibly work and go with the government and Big Pharma agenda. If people knew the links between the 2 they might think twice about what they're shooting into their bloodstream. However, they might not because as you say they are sheep! But when the government goes after the children and the number of these innocents who will die as a direct result of this jab then I despise the lot of them and along with EVERY single health professional who gives these shots to people when there's plenty of information going back 19 years to show how early they planned this plandemic AND any parent who subjects their child to any of these kill shots, well they should ALL be tried just as the NAZIS after WW2 and jailed or killed. What we are subjecting our children to in the name of winning the "war on Covid" is nothing less than cruel and unusual punishment and crimes against humanity!. I could go on for hours about the Drs speaking out overseas and the scientists studying these shots and conducting autopsies on these people, but I know that I'm preaching to the choir. Happy New Year again just in case I forgot before! Thanks for replying.

It is very sad I say and they are getting away with it because the majority of people in this country are just like sheep!! Most of my family don't speak to me now. It is just awful. I too worked in the Medical profession for many years and certainly had my eyes opened. Happy New Year to you and we just have to hope. Best wishes.............. In fact my niece has decided to let it run rampant in her household to build up the immunity of all the family members. They are all young and very healthy. I would be a bit to scared to do that. When we get to the next variant and it is proven to be even weaker than the Omicron I might seriously consider getting out and about and not worrying too much about it. Right now I live in a holiday hot spot and just sitting it out at home waiting for all the holidaymakers to leave.

I was young once and went to many parties but now I am content to miss them. I suppose the young do not wish to miss out but common sense also needs to factor into it.

I am guessing they have decided this Omicron variant is maybe the way to get herd immunity as obviously the vaccination program although not a complete failure but not the answer either. We have people who just do not give a damn and go out and about with the virus and spread it. I hardly go out, always wear a mask and wash my hands etc. All the hygiene necessities to limit my exposure. I might add I am 72. However, I have people who come to my home and so I am guessing one will bring this uninvited guest to my doorstep. We had cafes screaming for the borders to be opened and now they are angry as the people are infecting them and their staff and they have to close and go into quarantine. The arrogance of our Prime Minister, the NSW Premier and others is mind boggling. It is just idiots following idiots I am afraid. I am guessing we had to open up but could it have not been done in a more controlled fashion. 1000's of people will become sick in a very short time and this will affect everything. Planes won't fly, shops won't open, trucks will not deliver food, health will be affected as nurses and doctors etc. are struck down and of course all these businesses that screamed to open up the states will also close down. Our hospitals will be over run very quickly. Common sense - I have not seen much of this displayed. People who get on TV, Social Media, etc. sprouting their views demanding we open up. Well, they have their wish. Wonder what they will say in a couple of weeks time. We are now at over 20000 cases a day reported and it is doubling nearly every day. Yes NY will be a massive super spreader. Happy New Year to us.
