What items would you take? Items can only fit inside one banana box, and people and pets have already been rescued.

                                                              ·
                                                              • They say you should have all important things like birth and marriage certificates, photos in a box so you can just grab it and flee. We don't really, our certificates are in a box but not our photos I guess we should put them together. We live on a hill so we don't need to worry about flooding and we would see a grass fire coming but if there was a house fire and most of the house has cypress pine it would go up quickly. Clothes wouldn't worry me so much but I do feel for all the people that have lost their homes recently in the flooding. It's so sad and it's not the first time and I doubt it will be the last time unless the government gets fair dinkum and does some thing to fix the problems of flooding and bush fires.

                                                                  ·

And I can tell you, it was the longest 5 minutes of my life waiting in the rain for the fire brigade to come. What you should of written here was do you have a fire evacuation plan in place, and really, you don’t have time to take anything with you, if you want to get out safely. Something I don’t want to ever go through again, but by having a plan in place we could evacuate and ring for help, and turning off main power, we have damage and house can be repaired may take longer, because of the recent floods, but great full to everyone whom came to our rescue that day. I know it’s frightening to think you will lose your precious things, but life is more important.

It hitched a ride and the fruit and veg shop owner let me take it. I remember putting it in a shoe box with some water and going straight to the library to learn what they eat. We had froggy only for a day or so and we decided to go to the local zoo so it would have friends and actually live. I learned pretty quick I couldn't care for it :D
