What is the weirdest diet you've ever tried?
Nov 14, 20
I've tried some pretty out-there diets! I really want to try the champagne diet. Any diet that allows a couple of glasses of champagne a day, sounds good to me!

              • Probably the air diet. In the words of the wise Rodney Rude "I am a thin streak of duck shit". Wouldn't hurt to eat a bit more often!

                  • I dont bother about diets. I make sure I have my fibre and supplement my vitamins so that i can eat anything I like. I suppose moderation would be the word for my diet.

                    • It's sad that this question implies that dieting is normal - please love yourselves and don't fall into the trap of thinking that you need to be any kind of preferred 'normal' whether that be big, small or any combination of body shapes. When you die the only thing that matters is who you were which shouldn't be defined by appearance. Just aim for the kind of healthy that allows you the freedom to do the tasks you need to, have enough energy to get the job done and enough love and mental peace for those who mean the most.
                      ·
                      • Amen to that!

                      • Just like the ad about it doesn't matter what your dad wears or what job he has or how luxurious your house it. Having a dad is what counts. I don't believe it being too big for health reasons but even if one decides to be 250kgs we are still the same: loveable and loving (and some not big, small or medium). Dieting does seem to be an accepted norm, Vesta so I feel lucky that my Mum always ate healthily and didn't diet. I wish people could see that dieting is a waste of time and stupid co.s will always tell us we are crap so they can sell us something. They are the ones that are crap!

Some so called health foods are high in calories. Working out helps, but doesn't burn that much of your daily calorie intake. Most of us aren't athletes who burn up energy a great deal. Many don't have the time anyway to be very active everyday.u

Every diet I have been on (or is it used) has been approved by a license dietitian/nutritionist - and she has works in a hospital. My problem - has not been losing weight it has been gaining weight (trying to gain weight) and stabilized my weight. I used too see a license dietitian/nutritionist once a month in person - the pandemic has change it to once a month - video/audio chat - online! More people ( a lot more people) in the USA (where I currently reside - I was born with dual citizenship) - die from been too thin (for their age, gender, and height) then being over weight (for their age, gender, and height). I don't help my cause - by having a "sweet tooth"! I have notice (and it applies too me), people have a tendency to sabotage their health!!!!

So maybe chocolate is the go for your sweet tooth? Please note: his doctor will not believe that chocolate provided this health benefit but he eats very little, but chocolate everyday. I wonder what your dietitian would think? (I can hear them already: very nervous!)

I am limit to 90 calories of dark chocolate a day. I have to weight everything I eat (for portion and calorie control). I have to keep a food diary of everything I consume - on a daily basis.
