The neighbour's dog bit me about 45 years ago. In those times that was nothing special and was like something to laugh at. Just apologies from the neigbour and the dog reprimanded for poor control of its own fangs.

Bitten by a Tiger sake in Victoria Australia when I stepped into its path. It struck 6 times. 1 dry bite and 5 penetrated. Neighbour wrapped wound on foot up to thigh and called ambulance. She actually saved my life by taking this step. 6 days in Intensive care, 3 in recovery. 3 days home then back today hospital as strike area became Septic. 4 more days in hospital. Never felt so i in my life, brought on by both the venom and two doses of anti venom, one brown snake and one tiger snake dose just to ensure they covered me in case I may have incorrectly identified snake. I hadn't but better safe than sorry. 18 months later all areas affected such as liver, kidneys and taste finally were ok. Something I will never forget. Snake slithered away. He was about 5ft long.

Yes. My firstborn at four months bit me while I was breast feeding him as he got teeth..needless to say I weaned him immediately. You should see what he did to the teats on his bottles!

A medium size bulldog attacked my small doggy, run out of nowhere, I learned that never try an attacking dog to push away with your hand, the dog just got my hand, lying on the ground attached to a dog’s teeth...finally the owner came, took the dog. Pretty big shock. I do like dogs. Not this one.

I haven't been bitten by anything really dangerous. A small bite from an Alsation dog, but more in play than being aggressive, and of course a bull ant bite for stepping too close to their nest and of course mosquitos. Even my horse escapades didn't cause any bites, so I guess I am pretty lucky.

I nearly got attacked by this vicious looking black dog while walking home from the local store. Luckily, my partner was there and he swung an umbrella at it. The dog owner then came over and actually told us off for trying to hit her dog. Her dog was unleashed and had escaped from the yard.

Yes by a large dog jumping the fence trying to kill my dog so it attacked me on my leg which required stitches and some time of work

Little dogs - never any big ones. So many people are scared of my staffy x pitpull who came to work with me at Kindergarten, stayed by my side at my market stall and who has made friends with the neighbourhood cats and our two rabbits. I know some people have been bitten by others of this breed but as dogs they are very smart, people pleasing and need exercise so like any dog with the wrong owner they can be lead astray. Also statistically there are so many of them worldwide that percentage wise bite numbers are very small when compared to other breeds. Don't judge a beautiful dog by it's breed people. Easiest dog to train, hilarious and loooove children.

Got stung by a wasp while working in my garden a couple of years ago came in the house and expected some sympathy but my wife couldn't stop laughing so I washed my arm put some lotion and went out in the garden again.The moral of this story was never to expect sympathy from her but if it was vice-versa the situation would have been very different.

A dog, bees, mozzies, red back spider, midges, fleas, and I guess a few other bugs over the years. Nothing serious although the red back made me feel a tad off for a day or so and I got encephalitis from mozzies which made me ill for years.

When I was 12, swimming at the beach in the early evening, got stung right across my face by jellyfish, with some tentacle left behind. Also my dad who grew up with horses, not thinking when feeding his horses some apples, had 1/3 of one finger bitten off. Oh and my firstborn bit when breastfeeding, got a scar from that one.

Yes worked in cat welfare, cat bites seemed to be a risk of the job. Also been bitten by a dog, a neighbours horse, my pet goat when he was little, and an assortment of insects. Dog I never saw again, the horse I was wary of whenever I was near it and the goat thankfully grew out of biting.

Many times by hidden wasps in the backyard. I searched for their nest & sprayed them to eliminate them but after a year or so they come back perhaps to balance the eco-system

On two different occasions, when I was a child, I was bitten by (different) corgis. In fact my uncle's hated me so much, it had to be removed from a room before I could enter it. Luckily I have not developed a fear of dogs from it. I'm cautious about corgis though.

My German shepherd girlfriend loved to bite and occasionally attacked. I released her back into the wild, got myself a domesticated Siamese pussy which has proven to be a completely pleasurable experience.

Yes had a nasty nip on the back of the ankle that left a scar from an aggressive sausage dog while out walking during Covid. Strangely enough found out it had lunged at another friend of mine walking in the same area a couple of weeks later. Apparently they don't take kindly to being told they are fat lol

Mosquitoes, bees, sand flies, dog, chook,crab, my niece. The dog ( I was only about 10 & taking my 2 year old niece to the shop when a Blue heeler attacked us. I picked her up, tried to push the dog away, it bit me on the hand and I still have the scar and ran into the shop where the owner took a broom and belted it till it left the shop.

But a friend of mine (an elderly lady) got attacked by three rottweilers that belonged to a neighbour.The dogs had gotten out of their secure enclosure. Lots of bug bites coz I live in Oz, but never an animal. Just the usual play nips from puppies, or when I play with the cat.
