We know about growing herbs and not wasting food... the single most important piece of equipment you need is a large chest freezer... (even two) THAT is your best friend... you will be surprised at just how much you can freeze... and just how much supermarkets can discount food... they will almost give chicken and pork away... my dog is eating VIP food that costs $8 a kilo, and it costs me $3... my mushrooms usually cost $5 or $6 a kilo rather than $13 you can freeze loads of things even milk!... buy on clearance... buy near the expiry date... and just freeze it.... you will save SO much money tinned goods don't go off... they can be fine for 70 years... and most cheese that is "old" and needs to be cleared tastes better!
