Snow for Christmas
Simba 1006243Dec 13, 24
Does having snow at Christmas make it more like Christmas for you, or does it really matter?
I am from the Caribbean and enjoyed the warmth at Christmas. I moved to Canada over 40 years ago, now I cannot see Christmases without snow. My children enjoy tobogganing which, in turn, I enjoy.
Hiking in the snow is also a lot of fun.
Do you enjoy Christmas with or without snow?

The only snow we get is in our deepfreezes.

Christmas and snow come from gorgeous chocolate box scenes. Hot or cold Christmas is all about the getting together and that's what I like the most

I live in a country where it is summer time during Christmas and I wouldn’t change that as I love the hot weather

Never had snow at Christmas. I like the warmer climate in my country. Never felt the need to experience a "white christmas". It looks beautiful in movies but the reality is I hate the cold. So thanks but no thanks

I’d really like to experience snow during Christmas time, an idea for the future. Families get together for a traditional Christmas Eve or day in sunny northland’s NZ…

Even when I lived on the East Coast we rarely got snow on Christmas. I would like some light flurries on Christmas Eve just for the pretty.

I think having snow on Christmas makes it feel more like Christmas. Living in the northeast we don't get as much snow now as we used to.

Unlikely to have snow in the middle of summer. It never snows in Sydney anyway.

Snow at Christmas makes it more official but it's nice not to have it sometimes. I'm not a fan of snow but it makes the Christmas lights stand out more.

I love snow for Christmas. We have more than enough here now but probably more on the way. It would be awesome if it started to warm up here January 1st but of course it will not. It's the minus 30 to 40 and especially wind chill that is disgusting. Merry Christmas to all that celebrate this special holiday!

"Does having snow at Christmas make it more like Christmas, or does it matter. Do you enjoy enjoy Christmas with or without snow." Not into snow (cold weather) - moved to Southern Sunny California over forty years ago. Furthermore, I am an atheist - not into Christmas or any Christian religious celebrations. FYI: The LAST TIME anyone in my family celebrate Christmas or any Christian religious celebrations - my ancestors were slaves in a supposedly a 'CHRISTIAN NATION'!!!

It is mind boggling how unChristian Christians can be and then they can have the nerve to critisise other faiths.

The Bible tells us we will be persecuted for our faith at Matthew 5:11; Matthew 10:23; Matthew 23:34; Luke 21:12; John 15:20; and Romans 12:14 reads, "Keep on blessing those who persecute, be blessing and do not be cursing." BLM has a God given right to his opinion, just as we have. As one of Jehovah's Witnesses, I don't celebrate holidays either. Please, be kind. May God bless you and your family. ;-D

I would love to see snow at Christmas, I think it would have a different feel. We are so used to 40 degrees in Australia and it is not at all enjoyable.

A few times living here in Ontario we had no snow for Christmas and it didn't feel like Christmas at all. We still celebrated it but it just wasn't the same. Definitely we need snow for Christmas.
