Discussion of the Day
What's your favorite thing about the city or town where you live?

Calgary Alberta, Canada is where I call home Calgary is a great place for families to live because it is clean and safe, relative to other big cities. It has the most extensive urban pathway and bikeway network in North America. You will never run out of gorgeous places to explore, for hiking, mountain biking, and fishing in the summer and skiing the list is endless. Calgary gets the most sun of any of Canada's major cities. This year Calgary was ranked the 3rd most livable city in the world. If you're looking for a city with a rich culture and history, Calgary is the place for you. Home of the Calgary Flames - NHL Hockey Team, and The Calgary Stampede. Love Calgary !

I live with the ocean/beach to the front of me and the country and mountains behind me. The city is an hour away but I have an airport just down the road for interstate and some overseas travel. The air is clean as we do not have industry near us. Kids can go surfing or do other water sports plus all the field games like Rugby, Aussie Rules, Tennis, Basketball and of course we have skate parks etc. Schools are good with universities close as well. I think we have the best of all worlds here. Of course, there are plenty of wonderful places to call home in most countries. Our temperature in winter is quite moderate although the summer months can be humid.
