We recently sold our house and are currently renting back while we build. You'd think as tenants in a property we owned up until recently and have been in for 7+ years, the landlord/agent would be pretty easy to deal with, but it has been anything but. We're fortunate to not be worried about 'having a roof over our heads', but I worry for the tenants that come after us.

Has anyone ever been in a situation where you didn't 'make waves' about genuine issues with a property you were renting in case they decided to not renew your lease?
