Do you feel that there is a significantly higher no. of people who are abusing drugs such as cocaine, amphetamines, oxycontin, etc. in this decade? Or that it's always been pretty much the same since the 1960s or even before but less visual as now?

      No it has increased so much it is scary. The young seem to have to use drugs so they can have a good time. They swallow stuff they have no idea where it was made or from what. Some of the drugs coming out these days are downright scary. In the 60's it was mainly Pot and LSD and perhaps heroin and not that many were users. However, Australia now dominates in global consumption of Methylamphetamine per capita.

        Yes & it was back in the 1980s when I first heard that they add alot of synthetics in what was natural. And for kids their minds are full developed fully before their mid-20s it's true. very sad

        Yes we have alot of very young users, but surprisingly enough many over 60yrs use and not just cannabis( self medicating) for pain relief,some depression and isolation. It's sad

        Yes but more often prescription drugs not street drugs.

      The upward trend in the number of drug abusers is very concerning!
