There are skills we develop that are extremely practical and meaningful, they help us do our jobs or navigate life in general, but then there a whole range of skills / abilities people possess that don't really contribute to anything of consequence or only of very minor impact.

Not sure if it is a skill as such, but my sister has knack of finding parking spaces when it looks like there are none.
