I am the wife, daughter-in-law, niece and mother of a trucker and I can say it isn t the same as it once was. Maybe it is just me, but it used to be an art form. Took a special breed to be a trucker. Drinking coffee, smoking cigarettes and jamming gears. Now a days with all the automatics out there, seems like everyone thinks they can be a trucker. It is a privilege to hold that title, not a right. More people need to prove they deserve the title. They deserve the respect. Or is that just my thoughts.
