A couple of years ago I tried to buy my dog a leather collar...people looked at me funny...no pet shop stocked them... I had to import one on Bay...a non-leather belt lasts a couple of years...a leather one maybe 20 years....non-leather shoes don't last me a year ...leather is BAD...buy an unending list of different stuff that you need to throw away on a regular basis....so what happens to all the animal skins that we now aren't using?...landfill?..what happened to sustainability?...how much extra plastic are we generating to replace its use?...any ideas?
