I resigned my job in March for health reasons and took a few months to sort them out. Now I am ready to go back to work on a part-time basis. I am so lucky that my partner and I can afford basic costs like rent, groceries and utilities on his income alone. But I really do want to go back to work so we can afford the nicer things in life again and put some money aside for savings. I've been finding it hard to find a suitable part-time job, though. I'm not fussy. If be perfectly happy to work below the level I was before. But the feedback I've been getting from interviews is either that I'm 'over qualified' or that I don't have experience in one of the specific areas they are looking for.
