More and more businesses are asking for payment upfront before the job or service has been performed. What happened to the practice of completing a job or service, then sending an invoice for work well completed to everyone's satisfaction?
What if something goes wrong? They already have their money in hand. It makes it more difficult to complain about a shoddy job afterwards.
