I have many board games at home but Monopoly is a family favourite. We have both the original and the Star Wars version.

The only games I play now are on Rewardia, but I did do jigsaws with my children which they still do with their children as well as some games. A favourte on a cold Winters night was Trivial Pursuit, and when my grandchildren were younger they loved beating me at Connect 4. Now adays they like playing Chess with their grandfather.

We had a game called "What's My Word?" It was something we played when on holidays as well as at home - educational as well as fun (trying to beat my Dad).

i don't play physical board games anymore- just me n hubby who is pretty much paralysed- he can point a bit to his ipad if not too tired so we play online games- quizzes, word games etc. i also like to play solitaire and a wordle game and block puzzles.

There is a group of adults who meet in the city for board games. My son loves it.

We had so much fun with our children growing up playing scrabble, Monopoly, Uno, and card games such as snap etc and just like Jenny's mum I would never let them win.

No not anymore, but I used to love Scrabble & Monopoly

Scrabble with my Mum, we still play when we see each other. She would never let me win so I was a sucker for punishment. As Mum has gotten older I now can beat her as my game has improved by playing on the computer and playing games like scramble words. We are now more evenly matched and she plays my Dad weekly as he knows how much she enjoys playing. Hubby and I would play on our trip around Australia for some amusement but he is too busy renovating at the moment to play.

Board games have always been very popular in our family. Our favourites would have to be backgammon, UNO & Yahtzee at the moment, it changes all the time though. We have a huge selection in our games cupboard & are always on the look out for new ones to add to our ever growing pile.As my kids grew, we would sit around enjoying games nights & simply enjoying each others company.Monopoly becomes very competitive here & normally runs over a few days :)We even have a wide range of 'mini' board games for when we go camping!

We have a shelf on out bookcase full of boardgames. The kids (and us) used to enjoy playing them but over the years, the kids have misplaced pieces and the games aren't as fun to play with pieces/cards/tokens missing.

Only board game I still play occasionally is Chess. Don't play any computer games except for a time when I broke my wrist and used the game as Physio with a force feedback Joystick to rebuild the strength in my arm.

When I was working with young children, they loved a game called Tummy Ache. It was fun to see them appreciate the humour in the game while learning to take turns, etc.

Always played board gamesm, but since covid we oldies have battened down the hatches to avoid getting it. Playing games on the computer is a non personal contact, and isolates people. Some spend every spare second like the chap next door. He plays all night and sleeps some during the day and then back on the computer. Comes home from work and apart from work spends his whole time playing games. Such a waste.

My family plays a lot of board games. No video games at all.

No but I did play Scrabble, Monopoly, Snakes and Ladders, Draughts, Chinese Checkers, Trivial Pursuit, and a few more. At least you were in the same immediate area with your opponent/s. As I grew I then went to cards and played Euchre and 500 plus Gin Rummy etc. Now, I have no one left to play these games with hence I do surveys.
