      • very rare that I wear makeup...or muckup as I call it. I am very much what you see is what you get. I hate the feel of the muck on your face.
        ·
        • Bit hard to apply makeup when you have a beard. I stay away from women who cake on makeup as A: it's false advertising B: very costly C: can become very messy D: I believe you should be proud and accept the way you look naturally.

          • no I don't wear make-up, and I like my women with little to no make-up, never liked meeting someone, but the next morning, who is this stranger,, not for me, be real.......

          • "NO" to most ALL of the above! The only time I ever wore makeup was when the mother of the young man I was dating at the time told him, "She's pretty, but she'd be prettier with makeup on." After he told me what she said, I started wearing mascara, but that's all I've EVER worn, and I haven't done that since I can't see to put it on anymore! ;-D

That's my reason, also! Not even with the magnifying mirror I have on the bathroom wall, for what, I don't know? ;-D
              ·
            • so true writerrochelle!
              ·
          • Very seldom where it now unless it is a very special occasion.
            ·
            • Too many questions. I don't always put makeup on when I go out for a menial task. More important occasions I do but very little. I do not use under makeup. I don't use a setting spray afterwards. I do not even know what this is.

              • had to laugh at Primer for under make up, I would have called it foundation.

I don't know if there is a difference between primer or foundation but I know both are still sold.🤣

because my skin is aging rapidly now, without a really good primer, my foundation looks terrible all around my mouth, so I found a fabulous primer that actually works (il makiage) because I am one who doesn't leave the house without makeup on and hair done nicely and dressed nicely as well ( not just tshirts)

              • Good for you (my mum would have loved you) but too much hard work for me😁
                ·
            • the natural face is pretty without any added makeup. Have you all seen a pig pathing in the mud? it protects their skin, but not makeup in the face of a woman, looks ugly { sorry that is the truth}
              ·
              • Yes to all above!!!
                ·
                • I only wear it on special occasions and try not to wear it because it can be bad for your health. Did you know that governments worldwide recognise there is a substantial asbestos problem with makeup? Popular makeup brands both cheap and expensive can contain up to 20% asbestos weight for weight. So a fifth of your makeup is pure asbestos. Of course the makeup industry knows about it and obviously don't want consumers to know this so they make the most of the situation. This is not some wacky conspiracy theory either, look it up, quite a lot of legitimate organisation's with good reputations will tell you the same thing. Anyway I don't want cancer so there's no way I'm wearing the stuff on a regular bases. Oh and asbestos is just one contaminant. Makes ya think doesn't it?

                  • No. No. Yes. No. No. No.
                    ·
                    • I can't leave the house without mascara since my lashes are nonexistent without it. Drugstore makeup perform better than high end half of the time. I do use primer and setting spray is a must 😁
                      ·
                      • I don't like make up😊

                                  • Do I know the ins & outs of makeup? NO (but I never used makeup or even thought about using makeup). Don't get me wrong - males deal with vanity issues (including me) till the day we die. I had a receding hairline till I had a hairline surgery implant and still take hairline medication/treatments. I had nose surgery to make my nose look smaller. I am still a work in progress pertaining to vanity issues - LOL! Vanity issues affect all of us - regardless of gender!

                                    • Hate makeup but need it as Father Time did a dance upon my face. Its like wearing a mask/costume. Try to focus on skincare more. Always tried to take care of face.
                                      ·
                                      • In my "hay day" yes. Expensive brands, yes. These days only on special occasions. Not so much foundation though as hot Queensland climate tends to make you perspire and your skin doesn't breathe.

                                          • Don’t use any make up. Just a night face cream and occasionally a day one.

                                            • I don't wear ANY makeup (would NOT want that goop on my face!). Even asked my husband once what it felt like kissing an "artificial layer."

                                              • I wear it when I leave the house, but not at home. I buy midrange products, but wait for 40-50% off sales. I don't use a primer or setting spray. In summer, I wear tinted sunscreen instead of foundation. In winter & midseasons, I top it with mineral powder foundation, which doesn't need a primer or setting spray.

                                                      • I wash my face with water first and pat dry. Then a thin layer of moisturizer, a little blush, a little mascara and a little lip gloss. Just enough of everything to show I actually have features on my pale face. My hair is gray and so then also the eyebrows and lashes are gray. Yes, I have left the house without makeup to shop, to the vet, different places. I prefer to take the 2 minutes to put it on though because I just feel better and look less tired or ill.

I do not like the makeup of today (they all seem to have the same look) as it is so heavy. Heavy brows, false eyelashes and dark heavy eyeliner, etc.
