| Surveys taking much longer than advertised | ||

| There are a lot of surveys that take much longer to complete than the stated time. If I have around 10 minutes to spare, I will look for a survey that is 10 minutes long. It may pay around 50 cents to a dollar which isn't great, but acceptable for the time and effort. I click on the link and it says the survey will be 15 minutes. I reason that I can spare that much time. I attempt the survey and after 15 minutes there is no sign of it ending and it it still going 40 minutes later. I can't stop now as I have spent so much time on it already. It finally ends and if I am lucky, I will get the 50 cents which doesn't compensate me for my time and all that useful data. If I am unlucky, and this is often the case with longer surveys, I will get screened out after submitting the survey or there will be a technical error and it can't be completed. Can't surveys be screened before being added to the site so their timing is accurate? | ||
