So I get that we need to protect our privacy and identity but why do we then have to prove ourselves by handing over all our identity documents to do that on the internet on sites that we've been using for years and have had no issues with.

I understand they are trying to protect themselves and us but ...

Once we hand that information over its out there for the taking and no one can honestly guarantee they can keep it safe from hackers.

It's becomes a no win situation and we are only making it worse by handing over our lives online.

Would you walk up to a stranger in the street and say hi, here's my license, help yourself ??
