Chicken Teriyaki Stir fry with Udon Noodles | ||
This is a quick and easy stir-fried teriyaki chicken udon stir fry recipe, consisting of chicken, vegetables, udon noodles and tossed with a sweet and sticky teriyaki sauce. It s a great recipe for busy weeknight dinners when time is limited! Ingredients: chicken breast/ chicken thigh 4 pack udon noodles 6 medium chopped Zucchini 1 large onion 1 tsp garlic 1 tsp ginger 1/2 tsp chili pepper to taste 3 tbsp vegetable oil 50ml soy sauce 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce salt to taste ground black pepper to taste 1 tsp roasted sesame seeds Method: 1. Chop up the ginger and garlic, cut the onion into slices, dice Zucchini. 2. Cut the chicken into not big strips, salt lightly and pepper (½ tsp of each) this makes chicken taste richer. 3. Heat the pan well, add the oil and fry the ginger over high heat for 1-2 minutes. 4. Add the chicken and stir fry over high heat for 3-4 minutes until golden brown, stirring occasionally. 5. Add the onion into the pan and fry with the chicken over high heat for 1 minutes. 6. Add the zucchini to the pan and fry all the stuff for 1 minutes more. 7. Heat water in the stockpot and boil the udon noodles according to the package instructions. 8. Add the garlic and red chili pepper into the pan and stir. 9. Add the soy and teriyaki sauces into the pan, stir. 10. Add some water and simmer for a minute. 11. Drain the noodles and wash with cold water. 12. Lay the noodles into the pan, stir well and keep simmering for 1-2 minutes over medium heat. 13. Switch off the stove. Add some roasted sesame seeds and stir. The udon noodles with the chicken and vegetables are ready! | ||
