Oven-baked Chicken Wings
Use 2 pounds (about 1 kg) chicken wings or chicken pieces. In a bowl, mix 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon black pepper, 1 teaspoon paprika, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon onion powder, ½ teaspoon chili powder, ½ teaspoon turmeric, 1 tablespoon soy sauce, 2 tablespoons plain yogurt, and 1 tablespoon lemon juice. Add the chicken and mix well until every piece is coated. Marinate for at least 1 hour or overnight.

After marinating, add 2 tablespoons cornstarch and 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour and mix lightly. This helps the chicken become crispy in the oven.

Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking tray with foil or parchment paper and lightly grease it. Place the chicken pieces in a single layer on the tray. Brush or spray 2 tablespoons oil over the chicken.
Bake for 35 40 minutes, turning the chicken halfway through after 20 minutes. For extra crispiness, broil for the last 3to 5 minutes until the chicken is golden brown and slightly charred.
