It’s OK but what they really need to work on is removing surveys that have been completed or disqualified

In July 2020, a 56-year-old woman posed for Sports Illustrated and I think that is an amazing step forward. Beauty in men and women doesn't expire at a certain age. Sexy doesn't discriminate. Do you agree?

I love my work. So I can understand people wanting to continue their passions after winning millions. But people who continue on in dead-end jobs (that they hate) a week after winning the jackpot should have their winnings taken off them.

Rubbish! You need a bit of time to get your wits together and the best way to do that is to stay a normal as you can. Give yourself space to realise the enormity of it

I work. I function. I go to the gym. I eat healthy. But I consume a bottle of red wine a night. Is this normal or could I be a functioning alcoholic?
Beverley S 383001
If you HAVE to drink that much every night you most definitely have a problem and need to get help or be strong enough to not buy it in the first place.

The cost of living has really impacted hard on so many families as we head into Christmas In my small family we are only spending money on gifts for children and have done so for a couple of years. Do you still buy gifts for adults or only children?
BLACK LIVES MATTER
I don't have a child or children. I don't give gifts to a child or children on Christmas Day (which is a pagan holiday). I was raised an agnostic and became an atheist. I didn't give or receive Christmas Day gifts as a child, and I don't give or receive Christmas Day gifts as an adult. Vacations can be a chance to take a break from, not just work, but typical food routines, too. That can lead to weight gain, but it's probably water weight, not fat, a dietitian said. Weight gained after a vacation is nothing to stress about and is completely normal. What would you say? Is it normal to gain 2kg on holiday?
Andrew C 287196
You shouldn't buy all that duty free booze and chocolates, then your luggage wouldn't be 2kg heavier coming home. \ud83d\ude09

Thanksgiving are being celebrated mostly in western country. Do we all know the real reason for celebrating 'Thanksgiving'? People may have different opinion and view abut 'thanksgiving' but, for me, I thank God for bringing me into this world, a reborn Christian and that is all I can thank and reflect on 'thanksgiving' longweekend. What are you thanking for in this 'thanksgiving' holiday?
Dada WA
Thanksgiving is an American tradition. Its not celebrated in any other western countries that I know of.

I must admit that I like cauliflower. 1 kg cauliflower, broken into bite-size florets A pinch of salt 1 teaspoon garam masala 4 tablespoons oil 100 gram minced red onion 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder (omit if you desire) 1/4 cup flour 2 cups buttermilk 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds 1/2 teaspoon black or brown mustard seeds 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro (parsley) Chilli flakes (optional) Place the cauliflower in a roasting...

Sometime individuals (including me) forget what an opinion is at this website. Which translate into rewardia.com is social media at its worst (in the digital world/age)!

We have private rooms for private messaging via Google.... people's pictures can be put up via their avatars and now added to things like their recipes and discussions or polls .
These can either be personal photographs or taken from another social media source like pinterest or facebook or instagram ..all of which constitutes copying and pasting / sharing posts / uploading from one social media site to another ! We can like or comment on eachother's forum posts in the chats otherwise known as a thread ... Keeping safe online here is still very much warranted as are the rules for using other social media sites. Yes we have limitations here ,but there is live chat in the bingo room and the ability to share video clips from media sites along with putting up with a multitude of annoying advertising , people's mad misinformation and some trolls even .. yep I would most definitely call this a social media website ;)

Should there be a limit on how many questions can be asked for qualification? I just tried a survey and qualification took about 8 minutes and about 40 questions only to be screened out. This is way too much. What are yout views on this.
Danielle R 478487
I agree. Surely your demographic, age and sex would be enough. More than that and I assume that I am being screened out because my opinions conflict with the answers THEY want, which defeats the purpose of quantities social research and not a true indication of public opinion. Just saying...and i always give true, concise answers so shouldn't be screened out for making silly remarks that aren't relevant to topic.

Not a role model dad joke. When I was little, innocent, and young - eons ago - I used to 'pray' for a bicycle. So, I stole a bicycle, and prayed for forgiveness - which explains WHY I never became a DAD!

What has gone wrong with the young males of today. Another school embroiled in young men taking the faces/head photos of social media and doing an AI attachment of a nude body to them and posting so many on line. Where has their common decency gone. Lack of respect towards girls and women has become endemic in recent years. WHY......? Are parents, schools, older generations not teaching them? Are they just brats who think they are cute or funny? Have men...
APB
We have been able to do this with photos (without AI) for over 30 years...anybody who is skilled can do this in Photoshop...so what has changed recently?....little girls now spend hours photographing themselves.. pouting and vamping it up...with their new phones and post them all over the internet...and little boys have easy access to to these..and pornography....and also now have software that makes attaching heads to bodies so easy that every moron can do this to a reasonable level....what's changed?...technology...that's all...if you don't want your head attached to a naked body stop posting it everywhere... in multiple views. different lighting and angles.. online....easy to use.....you know it can happen...just wake up and pay attention....if they made the software illegal it would stop immediately...

So I have 34 pending surveys and the HIGHEST point survey rates is one of 275 points. Yes 27 cents. Ummmm. The difficulty in such a survey completion is to know where to safely invest such a large sum. But I notice the top one (A 275 points Orange Survey) shows it is just a total survey of 1 minute long survey to complete it as noted by Rewardia. UmmmI thought. I will do it but then it as usual the survey asks me endless questions...

Wow ,nothing so scary as that . The sleeping Arabs at Tehran airport with their turbans were a bit of a shock as an 11yr old from down under I would say ,, apart from that I was suprised in Fiji at having to say Bula ( hello) to everyone basically from the airport security ,cleaners ,police in their long skirts ... everyone! At first I was getting exhausted from it a bit . And they will eyeball you coming your way too so you don't miss the opportunity. Kids waving out of the buses with no windows iin them while you're driving next to them "Bula !" ,, When I got back here I missed it, I walked past someone in my own street ,they just looked down kept walking by .. usual city behaviours ..

How is it that airlines can get away with dirty water on their planes? Many waters (not bottled) have been tested a d have been found to have bacteria. Sometimes even E. coli. It's no wonder the pilots never drink tea or coffee. Would you risk the water on the plane for their noodle cups? The ice cubes are made in the airport. No! Too much government control there. I don't trust any government, no matter where they are on the political spectrum, not to abuse power if they control everything. If you take a look back in history, carrying a few extra pounds was a sign of wealth because rich people were the only ones that could afford fattening food. Fast forward to 2020 and junk food is cheaper than healthy food and poor people are fatter than rich people. One would assume if we were to raise the price of junk food exponentially. Our health would improve. Thoughts?

I've noticed that more men think that a Platonic relationship between adult people (where one person is a gender that the other person is attracted to) involves an ulterior motive, while more women think that true friendships can exist without an ulterior motive. What are your thoughts?
Bugalugs
It's the New year and the Misandry Campaign is, once again, off and running.
We hear, endlessly, about how Horrible, how Distrustful, how Devious, how Abusive, how Misogynistic men are. They are no longer allowed to express an opinion, they must never, ever dare to say they don't like some female, their clothes, their botoxed faces, artificially pumped up lips - the list of what men must not do and how cruel, unfeeling and hurtful they are is endless and on-going
BUT we never, ever hear, or rather are never allowed to hear that Females can be every bit as bastardly as any male BUT challenge them and they will claim they are "Exercising THEIR Right to Freedom of Speech and Expression"!
No apologies but Christina C's statement is typical misandrist nonsense, men are no more, nor less, likely to have ulterior motives than any woman.

Adventures sometimes may represent silly troubles, sometimes great fun, always desirable and always bring some people experience that can take them out of their comfort zone. Share your best adventure. Are you adventurous? How often are you looking for adventures in your everyday life?

Hey I m a bit of an introvert and really didn t mind lockdown! Of course no one wants COVID but should we have an annual compulsory lockdown to reset ourselves for up to a week every year? I d like to know how many people would like there to be a statutory lockdown period of a week each year to reset ourselves and spend time with our families.
Diana A 392333
If you want to lock yourself down for 3 days, then go ahead, knock yourself out! BUT don't force it upon those that don't want to participate. There has been too much loss of freedoms and too many restrictions! I used to LOVE the free country we once lived in, the freedom that our ancestors fought and died for!

Who cooked your favourite recipes while you were growing up? You don't need to share the recipe though you can if you wish. Just the name and why you were so fond of it. Was it your grandma with her famous mint choc slice? Your Dad who was the noodle king? Mum who made the best ever cookies? Which foods gave you the best memories?
Lachelle B
We always had family over so it was more to do with what they brought over. Rotten corn, crayfish, hangi, paua (abalone), kina (sea urchin) and wild pig. I was scared of Julia Child and her cleaver, but loved Hudson & Hall and Graham Kerr.

My favourite childhood memories are playing outside with friends. I remember we used to play cricket on the street and as long as we were home by dinner my parents would be happy, Unfortunately these days children are more likely to be inside on their tech devices instead enjoying time outside. What is your favourite childhood memory?
JANET R 328390
Yes I have so many similar happy memories - but we lived in a different world then. These days there is no way kids can play like that unsupervised I say. Unless you are lucky enough to have a relative that lives in a property.................. It is not really even safe down at parks without Mum or Dad there anymore.

In Australia...1 kg of sugar always cost $1....for a really long time....then a few years ago...it went up to $1.09...and finally $1.10...OK...three weeks ago all new supplies of sugar are now $1.60...no natural disasters...no explanation and absolutely no apology from anyone...I've told people and they say it doesn't matter and why am I complaining...am I the only person to have noticed this?...and does everyone else think that this is quite normal?....if they did that...
Frank N
Hopefully people will just use less sugar. I cut out sugar around 12 years ago and I'm much better for it.

Is it just me, or do people think that Gladys needs to grow a set, and enforce harsher rules in order to get the Covid outbreak in Sydney under control, before she is responsible for a catastrophe for the rest of Australia.
Darren S 116121
Being the head honcho in NSW is hard, your in no way going to be able to keep everyone happy,by trying to keep some happy she has plunged that state into being a bit of a basket case, the lockdowns should have been hard and fast first up,now your going to be in the doldrums there for donkeys, being a true leader she would have not been to bothered what people thought and done the right thing by the people even if it had gotten her kicked out at the next election

With the Olympics due to start in a matter of weeks... we will probably here about athletes trying to cheat ... through taking illegal drugs, such as steroids. This seems to crop up at every ---Olympics. Do you think Drug-cheats should be banned indefinitely? For their entire athletics career?

Depends on what the drug is and why they're taking it for. If it's for enhancing like steroids, then I think they should be banned but if it's for medical purpose, then it's ok.

The Great Beyond, Another Galaxy, Attempting to Explore New Life and Planets Far, Far Away, in Distant Galaxies. Should we, even, use tax dollars and funds for this? While people on earth are suffering, with wars and pandemics going on? Why are we spending money for space exploration when we are still trying to figure out life on this planet? The US has a Space Force. Does this, even, make sense? It just seems rather confusing and improper,...

I so enjoyed Emma Kate's recent discussion on favourite songs for her playlist and then started thinking about the first cassette tape i ever bought- which was in the 80s. It was Human League. I was a student at a Technical Institute and was living away from home for the first time and in a Halls of residence. Having my music cassette player going was great and i remember friends making those mix tapes with some many great songs on them.

I used to assume when I saw a woman in gym wear/activewear, that she was off to the gym. Only to discover, it was a fashion trend. How did this happen? Is society on a downward slide? I prefer to dress elegantly but each to their own I guess.
APB
How did it happen?.....it was a gradual process, starting in the 1970's when gay men started wearing trainers when they had no intention to do any training...that quickly spread to the whole population...then we had "girl power" which meant the only way to be equal to men was to wear your bra on the outside and wander around half naked...this has now filtered down to the general population...it can be a blessing or a curse depending on how much fat is crammed into very small quantities of a semi see through stretch material....each to their own....

Now a days we rely on technology too much. But is it good to have so many? Do you think we relay on them too much that if we take them all away we will be lost and wont be able to function?
Darren S 116121
I think we rely on it way too much, back in 1859 there was major disruotion due to a sloar flare.it wiped out the worlwide telegraph system,When, its not if but when, imagine what it would be like, every electrical circuit fried,no communications,no power,no pumpimg stations, planes falling from the sky,you have already seen how people reacted to the china virus emptying shelves, imagine how it will be when this happens, every man for himself, they estimate it would take 10 years and trillions of dollars to just get US back to normal,if anyone is interested heres a link to the carrington event

I may be wrong about this. But I think men believe if they pay for dinner, they are entitled to sex. So I usually offer to pay for both meals or go Dutch, to hold on to my power. But I know a lot of women EXPECT men to pay, which is also wrong. What are your thoughts on this? Who should pick up the bill?
Darren S 116121
i think if you date a man that expects sex after paying your dating the wrong type of man, before i married and dated women,if i asked them out i paid, not once did i expect anything in return.

share your experiences with the nurses . they have lots of good down to earth tips. Run a day by day diary and give it to the oncologist at each regular consultation, you will get many and varied side effects. Some of these could influence a variation in the chemo. Don't try to eat big meals once your taste goes away. It does no harm to have a google look at what is out there.

Now with all the devices we have, long distance friendships are super easy to achieve and maintain, but not too much just a few years ago. You know, people used to write letters in a paper with a pen or a pencil, and send those to the nearest postal office, those were called letters. Do you ever had a long distant friendship when the phones, internet and pc didn't exist? It last long? How old were you? Do you still writing letter?
Peter C 649111
I had a Japanese pen pal about 50 years ago but after an earthquake never heard from her again. I currently write to a friend in America who hasn't got a computer but haven't heard from him for some time so will be writing to him very soon. Hope he is still around. There has occasionally been a gap in our letter-writing so I'm not too worried about it.

And there is the lesson to learn from. Climate change is a natural process of our earth. Climate crisis is a manufactured illusion spread by unelected leaders of global organizations who do not have our best interests at heart. Tamz, you are answering your own question. If you have been able to "survive" without this shallow friend in your life continue to do so. She has made contact with you, what could that reason be? Did you recently win the Lotto, is she sick, unwell, and needing support, has she apologized or is there anything to apologize for/ There are just so many questions but my initial reaction is continue on without her.

What Christmas Traditions do you have? When my brother and I were young, our Dad would always wrap a potato up in lots and lots of newspaper and put it under the tree, and we would be there on Christmas morning unwrapping this huge parcel, only to find Dad had done it again. As we got older we would go to the midnight church service and when we got home open one present from under the tree. I still use the recipe my Grandmother used to make Christmas...

Qualification question today .. have you travelled by car to Mars in the past week ? Umm no,, Great! You have qualified for the survey .
Now baking and listening to some music whether it's a streaming service such as YouTube or the common radio ( transistor) can be quite therapeutic I find, however the survey probably went on to interview the lucky applicants who were successful on a completely unrelated topic such as bladder leakage !! How many dribbles ? A few drops or more? How often .. oh that's all the questions we have for you today !

My husband & I have always made it important to buy each other a card on special occasions. Birthdays, Anniversaries, Christmas, Mothers & Fathers Day etc. We are now retired, cards are expensive & money is tight. We have kept all our cards over the years & now have them in a container so that on each special occasion we find time to go through our passed cards & recycle one to each give the other. There are many beautiful, meaningful cards & it is so nice to read them...

If you are watching other people s children, and they seriously misbehave, and you can t just walk away from them for any reason is it ok to discipline another person s child?
Michael B 384408
Absolutely - You can't let them get away with bad behaviour or they will take full advantage of it and you! Let them know you are in charge and should be respected. If their parents don't like you disciplining them, they don't have to leave them with you. And they probably leave them with you because they can't control them and hope you will teach them some respect.

I spent the day at the VA hospital (Veterans Health Administration) in Boston yesterday with a friend who was having surgery and couldn t believe how clean it was and how kind and friendly everyone was. I was very impressed with their patient board which kept track of the stages he was in our veterans should always be treated with dignity.
Bugalugs
The VA Hospital isn't in Australia it is Boston USA.
Successive Federal, State and Territory Governments in Australia have been deliberately starving Australia's entire Health System of fundes for decades. It doesn't matter if they are from the Right or Left of politics. The Federal Government only wants to sqwuander untold hundreds of billions on Armaments and other Military equipment to "Protect Australia from foreign invasion" - they never actually tells us whom it is who is threatening Australia. The totally absurd thing about all this squandering of all that money, yes I know it is minuscule compared to the US and China, is that all of this equipment will be completely obsolete before any of it actually becomes operational! These absurd governments - since when does a country with just 26 million people need ONe Federal, 6 State & 2 Territory Governments?
All are now hell-bent on squandering even more billions on Space Exploration! As if they haven't, along with all the rest of the World's Politicians, made a big enough mess of our World without doing the same to others.
Spend all that money on Housing, Health and Education and stop warmongering. It is our Politicians and Religious Leaders who have been, and still are, responsible for All the Wars which have ever been waged.
Decent, Honest, Ordinary people want no part of those wars, yet they are the ones who are sent out to fight and die for the wars the politcians have deliberately, and are at present trying to create.

I recently started doing surveys on Rewardia again after stopping for at least 6 months in protest of their pathetic rewards for doing surveys. I have since discovered that you can be wise in choosing the surveys so you are compensated more fairly. I would only do surveys of certain colours because they are worth 1000 points each and it tells you the survey duration so if it says 30 minutes, I just ditched it - $1 for 30 minutes of work is not worth it. But if it says...
Stu J
Fully agree with you - the thing that really bugs me is that sometimes you do a survey, complete all the the questions so that they have all your information then the site kicks you out and the survey says "closed by user" zero points awarded
