Is it ok for the public to go into shops and abuse the staff who are only doing their everyday job, especially when it comes to checking bags? My belief is that if you have nothing to hide, then what is the problem with having your bags checked? Swearing and calling the staff names is not necessary. If the staff are not helpful or are rude, then they should be reported to a supervisor or manager.

The cost of increased shoplifting could easily put a smaller company out of business. Get your bag checked like a good boy or girl

Many happy, long-term couples sleep separately and still maintain strong, loving relationships. The key isn't whether you share a bed it's whether you're prioritizing each other in other meaningful ways. What would you say? Do couples who sleep apart grow apart?
BLACK LIVES MATTER
Do couples who sleep apart grow apart? NO! Love 'might be' blind, but it turns out sleep isn't (deaf)! Hence, couples are opening their 'eyes/ears' to the benefits of separate bedrooms! While the idea of sleeping a part may seem counterintuitive to some(couples). Still, couples are finding that sleeping in separate bedrooms can lead to more restful night's sleep and a happier marriage (or relationship).

Children are staying home longer in their adult years, to leave for a bit then come back. We have charged rent as soon as they get jobs as well as make then help out around the house. BUT a lot of our friends seem to do none of this and think we are mean, doing it to our children. How does everyone else feel about this?
Lynne S 85901
Absolutely agree with rent being paid when children get a job. No value of money is learnt when parents keep paying expenses for their children. Also chores should be undertaken to help around the house - parents are not slaves.

Some sources suggest that we are the most productive within the first few hours after waking up, while other studies have found that peak productivity happens around lunchtime. This shows that some people can be productive right at the start of the day, but others need some time to dive into deep work. At what hour does productivity peak for you?
Andrew C 287196
Everybody is different ... some are early birds, some are night owls, and most a just normal daytime people. That's is simple common knowledge, and doesn't require any pointless, and expensive, studies that continually contradict each other.
There are also "studies" that "prove" growing kids' / teenagers' learning ability isn't as good early in the morning, so there is a theory that schools should start and finish later in the day, rather than 9:00am to 3:00pm / 3:30pm. BUT, some of those "studies" are more about trying to improve morning traffic congestion than actually anything to do with kids' learning ability.

We've all heard about the school lunch saga happening around the country, with some questioning the quality of the meals. Since kids can be picky eaters, it raises the question - what makes a great school lunch? Let's not debate why times are tough and these kids need school lunches, let's brainstorm! Share your favourite lunches from your school days or the go-to meals your kids love! Perhaps we can come up with a menu of crowd-pleasing school lunches...
writerrochelle
I graduated in 1965! In my senior year dad gave me a $5 a week allowance. Lunches were 50 cents, so I spent $2.50 a week on food. My favorite lunches were the roast beef and gravy over mashed potatoes, or the oriental vegetables over rice! The other $2.50 went for shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste, soap (toiletries) because, since I had my own motel room (adjoining the manager's home/office), I had to buy my own things with my allowance. I even saved up and bought 3 paisley sack dresses (blue, green, brown) for $2 each! Did I ever get off the main subject! ;-D

From what I've read recently, the general consensus seems to be that people can usually not recall memories before around 3 years old. With the earliest memories generally between the ages of 3 to 6 years. Obviously there would be a lot of factors that could influence whether memories are formed retained & recalled.eg trauma etc. My earliest memory is not super clear, but I recall being prevented from entering the loungeroom & being really frustrated that I couldn't...

Yes I clearly remember sliding out of my mother's womb and then carefully being wrapped up in a lovely white sheet. Oh nothing like the old times.

The remote work era is not ending, but rather evolving. Companies are experimenting with hybrid models to balance productivity, innovation, and flexibility. What would you say? Is the work from home era ending?
Paula J 395266
I hope it's ending because I'm tired of phoning companies and hanging on and on and when they finally answer the dog is barking in the background or something else is going on and you have the definite idea that you were hanging on while they had a cuppa or took the dog for a walk.

The research show no loss in productivity and better mental wellbeing. What would be your thoughts on four-day work week?
Christine 1448143
If you had Monday or Friday off, it would be like having a long weekend all the time. In medical professions and teaching professions, that would be hard to implement. I don’t think that a four day working week would work for everyone.

I have always said crooks are really dumb. To prove my point, people shoplift and them brag about it on social media. They also break the law in other ways and either brag to their friends and get turned in or involve people in the crime who can't keep their mouths shut. Crime doesn't pay any way you look at it because if someone does get away with it for a while they won't stop when they have enough because they will never have enough.

The Banking Scandal of 2008 proved how smart criminals are - especially WHITE-COLLAR-CRIMINALS. WHITE-COLLAR-CRIMINALS 'ripped' the world off for trillions of dollars - and 'none' of the money was recovered. However, every government on this planet had to payout trillions of dollars to stabilize CAPITIALISM - or CAPITIALISM will have collapse. Furthermore, in the late 19th century - ROBBER BARONS' stole and looted a country in broad daylight for decades - it is known as USA these days, and ROBBER BARONS are known as OLD MONEY these days. History has proved on numerous occasions that WHITE-COLLAR-CRIMINALS - always get away with the money and NEVER get CAUGHT! Other words - crime pays very WELL - lol!

A friend did this: She got a piece of paper and folded it in half and anytime she thought of a reason to have children, she wrote it down on one side. And anytime she thought of a reason not to have children, she would write it on the other. When she had her doubts about not having children, she would look at the list, and it would remind her that the decision she made not to have children was right for her. Any advice? Will I regret not having kids when I get older?
Debra Jay 1237276
I won’t comment on whether people should or shouldn’t have children. It’s very much a personal choice. I’m a Baby Boomer, now 66. I still clearly remember the day my in-laws visited, and MIL announced in no uncertain terms that couples who decided not to have children were the most selfish people in the world. I was 25 at the time, and had been married 6 years. We went on to have children, but I was disappointed that she had voiced her view in such a way, and created an “expectation” in our relationship. Children are everywhere (nieces, nephews, children living in care, neighbours, friends’ children ….. ), you can quite easily have children in your life that aren’t your own, and they are just as special.

Communication is key to handling various values in a partnership. There are many long-lasting relationships among people of differing political or religious viewpoints. You might give your marriage a chance to survive if you can properly discuss and disagree. What are your thoughts? How do those who are married work through their differences?
Imperia S
By keeping the vow they made when they got married, "" I take You,,,,,,for better or worse, for richness and poorness, sickness or in health, till death do us part,,,, it kept me going for 55years 6 months and 6days, until Cancer took him away, we always spoke not yelled about our problems, and never went to bed in a bad mood or anergy at one another., all difficulties can be worked out, if you really believe in each others

Today, everything has become so expensive in all the things that we used to do, that gave us pleasure. Many people must cut back due to not having enough income. When we do finally have a few extra pennies in our wallets & you finally decide to take yourself or your family for a night out. Tipping or giving tips over here in New Zealand, is not considered a common thing. It's belongs as part of the america culture, & over in the US. Sure if some people wish to tip alright, not for me. They'll see I like their business if they get repeat business from me or not.

That's a personal choice, but don't cut your spending so far that you make yourself uncomfortable or miss out on the experiences you've always dreamed about. You certainly shouldn't be turning down the heater or putting off a roof repair to save money so that your kids have more to inherit. What are your thoughts? Should you spend your child's inheritance?
Janice S 76330
An inheritance is a gift, it's not something that is owed to you. To all those people who are waiting for their parents to die so that they can have the money that their parents worked hard for, I say: Work hard and earn your own money! A survey was taken, (not sure which country) and the greater proportion of the people surveyed were; 'waiting for their inheritance'.
I wonder if those same greedy people would be happy to scrimp and go without, just to save money to give it to their children? Probably not!
If our parents are fortunate enough to be financially secure after they retire they should be allowed to enjoy what is theirs, after all they don't owe us anything, in fact we owe them.

In this day and age, so many things have changed. Children's lives are so different from what mine was in the 50s and 60s. I can't even relate to their lives. Because the world is so different, children need to learn things that I never needed to know. What do you think we need to teach our children for them to be the best they can be in this modern world?

How would you feel if you went to the eye doctor and found out that for 14 years this doctor has been hiding the fact from you that you have cataracts? You have been having vision trouble all this time and have been depending on others for transportation because your vision is not good enough to drive. Now you find out, and he is still trying to talk you into glasses, even though glasses make everything seem dark. Would you be angry? Would you sue the Dr?
Linda C
What sort of doctor would do that. I was told I had cataracts for years but not bad but eventually he told me it was time to get the eyes operated on. I was informed all the time. I have an eye test every year and am sent a reminder. I am due for one now.
I think sometimes one has to change their doctor or medical person just to keep them honest and yourself in the know. My sister was very ill and her doctor for 10 years kept saying it was nothing. She passed due to cancer that has spread through her body and this so called doctors lack of care.
I always say get a second or even third opinion and if you still think something is wrong keep going. Many doctors fob women off as being hysterical, menopausal or whatever. Do not just accept their opinion. Investigate, educate yourself as much as possible and do not be afraid to ask the questions and demand answers. Of course, no need to be rude or abusive.

Stay in school would be my first advise. Everything after that flows from that 'simple' decision. As with any decision, the fork you take in the road, follows from that one decision. The people you meet, who you may marry, your decision on having a family, your social interests and more are based on this one decision. Stay away from the alcohol and the drugs of course is always good advice.

I have just acquired four-step grandchildren. Their father is a major part of their lives, seeing them every week. I live in another state and will probably only see them once or twice a year. I am not sure how to go about this. Should I be buying them birthday and Christmas gifts? They are pretty spoilt children, courtesy of wonderful grandparents, who do so much for them and absolutely adore them.

Drop the "Step" tag. Treat then as if they are your own biological grandchildren. They may not be of your blood but they are still your grandchildren.

Taking care of the species we have on the Earth makes sense...bio diversity is important....but bringing back things that were extinct...originally by back breeding...and now by science...does that make any sense?...we have evolution...these creatures do not belong here...aren't we just playing God when there are so many more important things we could be fixing? (and spending the money on)

If evolution actual works, then humans will permanently disappear from the planet - one day. Which will give other species the opportunity to thrive and the planet time to heal itself!

What is wrong with discussing politics? So many colleagues and friends make it a point of being off-topic. Don t you think it s better to communicate with each other? We are stuck with these governing bodies to protect us and add growth . I was just wondering how many other people out there have no parents left, and your siblings do their own thing with their own families on holidays, and it leaves you with your own family and no interaction with others, really. No closeness like when you were a child, or the feeling of being needed. I myself feel so lonely and so depressed during every holiday. I don't know how to get past it. But it seems my family split when my parents died.
boy blunder
death, unfortunately, does separate some families we lost 5 people over the COVID-19 years, it does make it tough and I feel for you, people I think avoid you because they have no idea what to say or how to act, distance creeps in and routines change leaving people behind, can i suggest writing letters, making phone calls and let your family know where you are, how you are, hopefully, things work out and new beggings can start I wish you well, i have been through it , I see my brother weekly now instead of every Christmas, because of phone calls sending letters and we have a new beginning he was going through similar troubles when his wife died but is reinvigorated. I hope you have an ok easter and again if you can't call write a letter, even if you don't send it it will serve you well

Appetite and hunger can both be triggered by many things that include sight, smell, and changes in the digestive system. However, your appetite can be influenced by things like boredom or undefined thirst that may lead to creative thoughts. What do you reckon? Is it better to ignore cravings or to eat in moderation?
Judy T 470524
Everything in moderation is good. Sometimes we crave certain foods because our bodies need some nutrients that they contain .

In some cases, though, a relationship might not have the potential to be rekindled. In these instances, it can be healthier for each partner to focus on themselves and move on. A lost love may return, but only if both partners are ready and willing for that love to return and the relationship to continue. What are your thoughts? Can lost love ever come back?
Susan KTC
We all have individual lessons to learn in our life journey and sometimes it just isn’t the right time for a relationship, and as noted by several of you, love can be rekindled. My circumstances were different, I found my life time partner in my early 50’s, after several learning lesson experiences and two children, once those relationships ended, there was no going back!

I don't know how it's at your area where you're resident but at ours house's price increased 30% over the last 5 years, and it's estimated it's not gonna decline any time soon. Really good for us to sell you our house as we gonna make those 30% + profit, however I can see how people are struggling and buying houses 3bedroom one bath for over $1m, and it's fixer upper!! I don't see that fair at all. I am worried how my son would be ever able to afford living one day....
Andrew C 287196
House prices rise, but so do wages (and everything else). Many of the people who complain they can't afford a house are wasting piles of money on restaurant dining, overseas holidays, continually updating their tech gadgets and cars, TV subscriptions, etc. In ye olde days people actually saved money for a deposit and they made sacrifices to pay off the mortgage (and the mortgage was often for a lot longer than the 30 years people expect to pay it off now). Nothing has really changed, other than the attitude of people.
Having said that, prices are also artificially raised due to the greedy "investors" (local and non-resident) who buy multiple houses to rent out and/or do up and "flip" at a profit. If it had been illegal to own more than the one house you actually live in, house prices would be a lot lower.

I don t play any gaming on the internet Except for games on Rewardia. I got two accounts on my bank statement for $99.50 they were subscriptions to Gaming sites My banking online has now been shut down and my debit card destroyed while they investigate. BLACK LIVES MATTER
Scammers are white-collar-criminals. White-collar-criminals ARE NOT severely punished as blue-collar-criminals in the USA (where I reside)! Are scammers going to be a regular problem going forward - YES (there are numerous ways to get anyone personal data)! The only person who can make it more difficult - for scammers to steal your money - is you. I do not use credit cards or my bank's debit card to pay bills online or offline. I do not use my bank's checks (since your account number and routing number is at the bottom of the checks - which is all the info a scammer needs to hack your bank account). I pay all my bills by USPS's money orders which are expensive - but they come with two receipts. I use cash for daily purchases. My credit score sucks - because I don't have any debt - but I have never been scammed/hacked (it
is a constant juggling act to keep your monetary info security). Furthermore, I have a landline phone with twenty-first century technology but does not have an internet connection - my landline phone cannot be hacked! Other words, you have to make your digital footprints as small as possible - so a scammer will not (hopeful) notice your digital footprints online or offline.

Everyone is complaining that the cost of power is increasing, and they want us to switch to all electric, cars, home heat etc. Where is the infrastructure for all the demand? They say, cut your consumption, we will help you save money... however the price is increasing even if you are using less. These companies never do anything for the little guy. They still have to pay their CEO the big salary. What do you think?
Jenny L 591463
Sorry this has nothing to do with power bills but I am so livid right now. I honest hope the bleeding hearts are happy with them selves. I hardly watch the news because it's all doom and gloom. Last nights head line was 70 y/o woman was stabbed in front of her 6 y/o granddaughter in Northern Brisbane shopping centre. The thugs wanted and stole her car, she obviously put up a little bit of a fight so they stabbed her to death. I honestly hope the family sues the government and the immigration department for allowing these criminals into Australia. Do you feel safe here any more? I certainly don't and why because it keeps happening time and time again. Wake up and stop allowing people like that here. It's not fair on the good people of this country to be put through this kind of hell the authorities have stowed upon us.For goodness sake just wake up.

I also like a bit of both. Trouble is Councils are approving these cement properties because they make a lot of money in revenue. One house, one block, front and back garden with garage turns into 3-4 properties with just a garage and not enough room to "swing a cat" so to speak. I feel claustrophobic just thinking about it. No trees, no garden, no bees, no fauna or flora. We are destroying our planet and environment. So sad.

When you have very strict parents/carers, are you making your children more rebellious? I believe yes, because the children eventually get really tired of the way you are with them. You need to be calm & explain the reason you chose for your child, in doing something in the way you want. Perhaps the child would understand more & if they state another way, why don't you compromise to solve the issue in a better way. I find being too hard on them, it leaves them with wrong...

NZ had recently General elections. Turns out, similar as previous years, not everyone go to vote. Yet there are lots of people who complain afterwards. I always say election is the time when people actually do have a 'voice' and might be able to make a difference in their country, but about 20 to 25% will choose not to vote. I bet those are the people who complain the most. Do you think elections really should be compulsory or leave the citizens the option to choose?

My husband s co-worker recently had a stroke and he is only in his 30s. He is still suffering from the post-stroke effects but started coming back to work full time because he is the breadwinner for his family and his kids are still very young. He knows the stress from work is probably the trigger for his stroke, but what other options does he have? One can argue that your health is more important, but there are bills to pay. It is easier said than done to just change the job....
Carol S 657195
In 1989 when I became unable to work due to a nervous breakdown, my husband kept telling me I couldn't quit my job because we would lose our house. I realized that, and I worked and worked until one day, I was on my way to work, and I just knew I couldn't go to the office one more time. Therefore, I had a complete breakdown, and I haven't been able to work since because of anxiety and depression. These are very difficult disabilities to prove. However, with a lot of determination, I did manage to get retirement Social Security disability. It took several months, but I had enough vacation and sick days saved to keep my paycheck coming until the disability kicked in. It was so difficult, and I have not recovered from it. I had a wonderful government job that I loved, but my boss pushed and pushed until my brain completely shut down. I could not even comprehend anything my husband was telling me, and I cried constantly! I spent 3 months in the Psych Center! Finally, they let me go because I was better, but nothing more could be done for me at that time. I tried to sue the government for causing this, but I lost my case. They blamed it on the fact that my father had died during that same time period. I was not permitted to take time off to even visit Dad in the hospital where he was dying a painful death from bone cancer! I regret that to this day! We were in the process of building a new office building and no leave was allowed. I wish I had stood up to my boss, but I just couldn't! I still have not come to terms with how he treated me. He even made negative remarks about women, and he made no effort to hide that the men had more respect that the two secretaries! I wish that had been brought up at the hearing, but my attorney prohibited me from mentioning certain things. You can't beat a government attorney. They play so dirty. They even said that I married my husband, who was older than me, as a father figure. That was so not true! I knew this man for 15 years before we got married, and I never believed Dad was going to die. I could NOT accept that! Thanks for letting me vent. I hope it helps. I still want to talk to my boss and tell him how he ruined my life. My job was my pride. After that, I lost my self-esteem. I realize now that who I was shouldn't depend on the job I have. It is defined by the person I am, and I'm proud of who I am now! I hope this helps someone. Don't let people define who you are. They don't know you!!! God Bless you all!

Once we collected and signed for our pay packets at a pay office. Now we have given, the control to banks that are closing, and for those whom don t trust ATMs and computers, how are they going to survive and how are they going to be able to pay their bills. Out of control Banks, with our money? Does anyone in your family struggle to with this?
Paula J 395266
You have no-one to blame but yourselves. You vote with your feet and if you don't like what you are offered then take your business elsewhere. The banks introduced ATMs' and you queued to use them not giving a wit about the teller whose job it replaced. You were offered internet banking and you were in a hurry to sign up for it, once again replacing people. Then it was the banking app and use your mobile all the while doing people out of a job. Branches closed and ATM's were removed, do you now why? Most ATM's are owned by people who buy them as an investment, they cost money to own because the Reserve Bank charges people for the money they put into ATM's so when you paid at Woollies or Coles with your phone and took out cash the costs of keeping ATM's was more than the earnings so they were removed. Don't complain, don't whinge because you brought this upon yourself. I don't have a smartphone, I don't trust them, especially with my personal banking. Apps aren't as secure as websites, not your side but the other end and people you interact with. I still use the website but my bank is trying to close it and push me off onto an app of course because it's cheaper, but I'm not going without a loud noise. Not everyone wants to bank online, some people forget how to do things online as they age, some people aren't as capable as others to go online or on an app so Banks should be somewhat responsible for pushing everyone online where they get ripped off or scammed. It's too late now the horse has bolted, you chose a machine and technology over a person. I'll use technology when it's a benefit but I MUCH prefer to deal with a real live person, I queue at the checkout to keep the checkout person employed and I like to shop in stores to keep the sales people employed. Any business that tries to push me into having a smartphone I ditch because I don't want one or the apps they insist I need. Every action has consequences and not using people results in no people being required. Think about that the next time you use serf service.

I think everyone's heard the saying, "Once a cheater, always a cheater", but is that really the case? Could someone be genuinely sorry and really mean it and be given another chance by their significant other, or would that significant other be making a mistake to believe them and should kick them to the curb?
Norma
Most people who cheat are narcissists that think they will never be caught. When found out they first go on the offensive and say it's all in your mind, then when given incontrovertible proof they blame you for your inadequacies or say it was a mistake and they'll never do it again, which is a lie. They just think next time they'll be more careful. I was married for 50 years and he cheated for most of that time. I never told anyone and had no support, until my daughter picked up the other line at home and caught him talking to his bit on the side. She supported me and gave me the strength to dump his a$$. He was a bully and treated me like his maid not an equal. I should have told someone sooner.

Criticism is envy, right? I get criticised so often by my "friends". I just really don't understand why people do this. It really brings me down. No matter what I say to them. It's outta envy, right?
Teri 1282723
Call it envy if you feel better, but these people are not your friends. You may hang out with them regularly, but that's not the definition of friendship. Your true friends are those around you who build you up, care about your well-being, want you to succeed in life, like to be around you and be affectionate with hugs and laughter - and you're a friend if you do these things for them. You want to share good times but you're there for each other in the bad. It's a form of love that you have for your friends and envy has NO PLACE in friendship. Breezy123, I think you're likely still quite young and you will learn with age and experience what I'm talking about. You can't possibly feel good about yourself or confident when these 'friends' are criticizing you. Please, for your sanity and self-esteem, find new people to hang out with.

What's a TV series you watched that you found really gripping/can't wait til the next episode?
MacAddict
The more channels you have, the more you watch. The more you watch, the less time you have for exercise. The less you exercise, the less fit you become (and possibly fatter.) And more unhealthy.

I've seen every age of child up to I'd say 7yrs, nursing discreetly or being handed a bottle or pacifier. Do you think there's a "reasonable" age that an infant/ toddler should be weaned off all of these ways to feed or get comfort? Or is this strictly a woman's choice, and we should respect that choice and not get involved with our own opinions?
Christine M 323842
How about we don’t look for reasons to judge other mothers. It’s a bloody hard job. When children are little you are doing the best that you can, while the world looks upon in judgement, and people feel they have the right to approach you and tell you what to do. WRONG!!!
We need to support mothers and the choices that they make. Different families, different children, different values, different circumstances, different cultures will all lead to different choices.

Some love the idea of going to the buffet - big variety of food and eat as much as you can. Others think it s a waste of money because they are not big eaters. So, what if it is a gathering where everyone has to pay for their own, do you think it s a good idea to have it at a buffet restaurant?
Roy R 1009866
The benefits of eating at a buffet are outweighed by the downside. The most important one is your health. Most of the people using those common utensils may, and only may, be clean but it doesn't take many unsanitary people to make all of the common utensils dirty eventually likely getting into your mouth and body.

During these days I noticed that the economy in the country has entered a state of inflation, and prices are constantly rising, especially the energy sector, According to my follow-up to local and international news, I realized that global economy has entered a critical stage. What are the steps that may limit the deterioration of the economy in the country? What did you do during the last period to maintain your financial balance ?
Michelle S 553303
This inflationary rise is by design in order to crash the economies of the world and destroy the fiat money system so that the WEF can bring in their Fourth Industrial Revolution and confirm their "Great Reset" which will cause a completely digital economy to replace the present democratic countries and bring in the NWO. Anyone who hasn't been paying attention to these psychopaths ought to because the end game is to cause a global famine that would lead to their being able to reduce global populations by more than 2/3rds and get rid of us "useless eaters"! The time is rapidly approaching when families will have to make a choice between paying the mortgage or rent or eating. It is THAT serious. But TPTB don't want riots on their hands so they have already destroyed the health of billions around the globe with their deadly shots, falsely labelled "vaccines" and in a 12 month period from, I believe, February 2021 to February 2022 the US suffered as many deaths in the working age population than died in the entire Vietnam war. The millenials are dropping like flies especially from cardiac issues. This is an absolute fact but you won't hear it on MSM. The hyperinflation will render the currency of virtually every country useless just like In Venezuela and Zimbabwe and Yugoslavia in the 1990's. The war in Russia and Ukraine is merely a distraction and someone to blame for this manufactured shortage and supply chain issues, but they have existed for far longer than just a few months. If you can afford to stock up on foods like beans, grains, pasta's and tinned foods do it IMMEDIATELY. Same applies if you have the capacity to pay extra on your mortgage or rent. A global crisis far worse than the Great Depression is coming and by later this year even MSM won't be able to hide it. Mock if you like but I have plenty of other things to do rather than spread lies on a survey platform. It's going to be HORRIFIC!

When I was younger I thought when I get older that is a good time and I'll get freedom to do whatever I want. But now I got freedom but I want my family to guide and motivate me to be on track. Now I know family members importance. Is anyone feels the same? I think when we have somebody by our side we don't know their importance and as soon as we lose them we desperately want them.

If you could go back in time, what is one thing you would do differently? Or what is one thing from the future you would take back with you? Or what is one thing you know or have knowledge of that you would take back with you that would benefit you or others?

The 'Butterfly Effect' is real, and going back would be extremely dangerous. Change one thing and you will mess up many more. I wouldn't if I were you.

People are always fond of hearing the word being rich or becoming rich. So, for us to be rich, we need to have a lot of wealth. But, the question is, how much wealth do we need to be rich? The answer is different for everyone, and it really depends on your lifestyle and needs. Some people are happy with two cars and an apartment in an expensive neighbourhood while others want a private jet and a villa in Monaco. So how does one become rich? The answer is...
Tom S Qld
When wealth is lost, nothing is lost; when health is lost, something is lost; when character is lost, all is lost.
Everything in moderation, and there's a perfect balance in this life if we can find it.

More jobs seem to be available to work from home. Is this a good thing or does working from home cut people off from everyday people to interact, and it's going to be a negative change. Is working from home better for mental health, or do we need to interact with people in person to stay mentally healthy?
John-Paul M 891388 - Australia
I have worked from home for over 5 years, At the beginning it was hard but once I got into a routine I found that from a productivity perspective I was much more productive. I was able to manage my increasing workloads and I have had no mental health issues as I still get to interact with colleagues via TEAMS and ZOOM. I appreciate that working from home is not for everyone but I think that COVID has brought home the possibility for employers and employees to work together to make sure that both benefit from the arrangements.

The weather seems to be getting much colder in Winter and hotter in Summer - Is this Climate Change or just that we feel it more in our bones etcetera as we get older?
Christina C 466456
Our bodies change a lot over the years so no doubt we will feel a lot different at varying ages. Our ability to repair, hormone differences, body composition and even the weather contributes to how we feel. So there's a lot of factors.
As for arthritis it is an 'inflammation' disease and we know that there are a lot of lifestyle changes we can make to improve and sometimes eliminate the issue. Firstly changing diet can have a dramatic effect for some people. Did you know that turmeric has such powerful antiinflammatory chemicals in it that it matches nonsteroidal anti inflammatory drugs? There are a number of other foods that reduce inflammation as well like foods rich in carotenoids/beta carotene or vitamin A - a powerful antioxidant. Vitamin E is also good not only for it's antiinflammatory properties but also due to its role in collagen production which we all know is important for joints. Good sources of vitamin A are sweet potatoes, carrots and leafy greens - basically all the bright, vibrant fruit and veggies. For vitamin E there nuts like almond but also cold pressed extra virgin olive oil is one of the best sources of vitamin E you can get. Also vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant and also crucial for collagen production. Another good food for joints is gelatin which is basically denatured collagen - have about 20 grams of gelatin powder (the regular/plain/unflavoured gelatine powder that you use to make cheesecake/jello etc that you find in the baking section at the supermarket) a day which should give adequate levels of glycine for good levels of collagen production. I prefer food source of gelatin over supplements industry products as the food industry has much more stricter quality control than the supplements industry which is not as heavily scrutinised, which is one reason why most registered dietitians recommend getting your vitamins/minerals from your diet over supplements.
Another important factor is body composition, particularly the type of fat that is in your body - white fat (stored fat) is highly inflammatory while brown fat (fuel) is antiinflammatory. So losing excess fat should be top priority for joint pain management. We can either exercise, diet or get cold/start shivering more (up to 13°C seems to be the magic number where your body starts using white fat as fuel to try and keep warm) to convert white fat to brown/metabolically active fat. So the cold is actually good for you in this case!
Another method to manage inflammation is intermittent fasting as fully fasting (zero calories) contributes to repair and antiinflammatory processes within the body.
Finally moving more/cardio and building muscle helps to support your joints by strengthening muscles and bones so that they can handle some of the load.
Hope this helps :)

The main difference is you cannot have one without the other. Kindness simply proceeds in Gratitude, they both go hand in hand. How do you practice Kindness and Gratitude? Notice good things, look for them, and appreciate them. Always express gratitude, write it down or thank someone.
Bugalugs
In an ideal world Kindness would always be followed by Gratitude. In today's "ME First. Last and Always" world, Kindness is not always followed by even an acknowledgement - a simple "Thank You" is enough. If you are a Male, try opening a door, or standing aside to let heavily laden woman in/out and the best you might get is a snarl or verbally abused for being condescending!

I work in retail. I love my job because I am the last person the customer sees before they leave the store. I think we should always be kind to one another because everyone is fighting a battle that we don t know. So if we can make a difference in someone s day, that s what life should be about
Bugalugs
A smile costs nothing so why not use them?
What I find Most Annoying are those customers who pay no attention whatsoever to the person serving them - particularly in Supermarkets. These Female & Male louts spend the entire time on their damned mobile phones - discussing, Sandra C, Their Private Lives, they make no attempt to respond to the Check-out operator, when the goods are put through they wave their phones over the eftpos terminal, wait long enough to see if their payment has been accepted (when not they blame the store staff & seem to think they are responsible for their credit/debit card being maxed out) then they simply walk away. No Smile. Most certainly NO "Thank You". It is the Customers who are so often extremely rude and if the indifference we sometime experience (it disappears when we speak with then thank & smile) irks then maybe we should remember those Serving us are Real People and it is as a direct result of OUR Indifference to them which makes them indifferent to us!
One of the Most soul-destroying jobs and one of the lowest paid ones, are those unfortunate Women and Men who spend their day swiping goods past a scanner in our Supermarkets.
Give them a Smile, Say "Hullo", "Good Morning/Afternoon" and Thank them for their Service - they do appreciate it and will respond in a Friendly way.

It concerns me greatly going on a shopping expedition to the local supermarket, especially of late. Has anybody else out there cringed at price increases of meat?... Actually, I should say everything in the supermarket lately. Then there's the price of Petrol & Diesel... Yeah, "WOW" enough said! Yes it is tough out there .We are a couple of aged pensioners & I can get 4 meals from a medium chicken ,Pot of chook stock(I boil the chook using onions ,carrots & celery(don't over cook keep the stock & veg)use the 2 legs(not thighs) & wings.I brown them & with roast potatoes & veg, I use a little amount of stock to make gravy.Meal 1.The thighs we have cold with Salad,Meal 2. 1/2 the stock I put diced pumpkin & diced potato in cook gently in the stock when cooked I mash vegies well for wholesome pumpkin soup & serve with crusty bread meal 3. ,The breast I break in pieces I drain a tin of asparagus pieces add to chicken,I make a white sauce using stock(not milk)Add a handful frozen peas meal 4. 'Guns don't kill people, people kill people', is what I have been hearing since almost forever. I live in America, where it is a Constitutional Right to own a gun. Yet, with the rise in ownership of assault weaponry and the rise of mass killings, some want to know if this is a good thing. While others blame it on evil people, who possibly would have killed anyway, gun or not. Your opinions on this is sought. Thank you.
Gaza
We have a lot less murders per population than the US here in OZ with the strict gun laws, doesn't that tell you something.

When you shop for purchases, do you just buy it straight away or wait for sales? I only buy things that are on sale and wait for things to be so, because I think if retailers can sell things at sale prices for 50/70% off then we are being ripped off paying full price What are your thoughts?
Saara F
Sometimes I pay full price when I need something specific urgently otherwise I wait for sales especially online there is always a sale to be found.

My almost 19 year old grandson came to stay overnight, and while it was lovely to see him, he never let his phone out of his sight. Even eating meals, the phone was right there, and he was watching it and constantly touching it. It goes everywhere with him and he is always looking at it, laughing at it and talking on it. It kept making "tweets" I think they are, and even while watching TV he was still tapping away at it. I can't really blame him because both...

My husband just passed and while the service was beautiful the cost was very high even though it was a basic funeral. What do others think it is worth pre-paying
Grommie
Our family have a particular stance about funerals. Funerals are for the living, not the dead. People attend funerals because they see it as "the thing to do". We come into the world and just about no one knows, so why not leave the same way? Who benefits from funerals?
Many people who attend funerals are hearse chasers after a free lunch.
I know of a funeral director whose wife runs a flower shop and they have a daughter who is a caterer. Talk about tie up the whole swindle.
If you prepay, the money just sits there, earning nothing. If the funeral director decides to sell the business, often you'll find the new operator pays you back your money because it has moved away from being enough to cover the cost. Or worse, they say nothing and send your family an additional bill.

Due to Social expansion and invasion in our kids lives, thanks to Tik Tok, Reddit, and Amino Chat: do you believe these forums are bad influences, teaching atrocious behavior and that lacking all respect for authorities much less themselves that they will not let go of their disrespectful behavior they've grown accustomed to? How do you think we can fix this problem as parents now?
Christina C 466456
It's the people around kids that influence kids the most. Not necessarily technology. Their friends, siblings, parents, school, community and online community which they have exposure to, influencing their thoughts. We're social creatures after all. It's up to parents to teach their children right from wrong or what is disrespectful and steer them in the right direction. Taking the time to educate your children will help them to make informed decisions so they can decipher what is rubbish and what is meaningful/important/useful information.
Investing more time in children pays dividends which is probably why 'back in the old days' kids had a more respectful culture - there were more stay at home mums. Distant parents = distant kids.
If you're worried about screen time, find out what they're passionate about and find a corresponding hobby so they can develop useful skills in the process (if they like gaming teach them about game development/3D modelling or if they like fashion teach them about marketing/sales, design school or architecture or chemistry in beauty products or how to make beauty products etc), or get some exercise (if it's martial arts, dancing or skateboarding etc). Take the time and find a useful way in which they can occupy their thoughts, challenge themselves and develop some useful life skills in the process.

Do you have much faith in Orthodox Medicines? Many people suffer from the negative affects of prescription drugs. Every individual is different as to how their bodies cope with drugs. It's alarming to think that a certain percentage of the population experience side affects - that bad ... that they end up in hospital due to medications. Drugs can have a toxic affect on your body. What is your opinion?
Sandra C 12043
I try to take as little medication as I can., but I do think Drs are too quick to push medication on you. Although I do believe that some people demand to be given antibiotics. We are fast becoming resistant to antibiotics because of overuse and eventually they will be of no use.

Do you think good-looking is a must when people find a boyfriend/girlfriend on dating apps? Or it would be more with how people communicate on these apps? And how many percentage do you think people are serious from dating apps?
Lachelle B
Total joke. Ever seen The Bachelor, The Bachelorette, Who wants to marry a Millionaire, etc? EVERYONE is good looking. It's not based on love or the possibility of love. At least show some diversity, a big person, a blind person, a paraplegic, real people would be good. Good looks fade eventually so you shouldn't be thinking so shallow and be with that person for who they are.

Have you made your plans for retirement or did you? What are they? For the first months, I was bored so did relief teaching and volunteered with several community organizations. I wasn't ready for retirement. I was forced into it by the female director of the Government agency I had been working for, she decided she did not want any males in the agency she was in charge of. She replaced me with THREE women - of course given the absurd structure of the Public Service it meant her Salary increased by a very substantial amount - the more staff she had under her control the bigger the salary. But I made the most of it, had a few part-time jobs until I moved into caring for an older family member. As Joe B says, I don't seem to have any spare time at all now - mind you being part of Rewardia takes up any spare time I have!

l think that if you do the crime than you should pay for it. Why should the family if the murdered victims have to pay for the killer's keep while they have lost their lived one or some child molesters who has no intention of changing, they are a waste of space and resources, they should be put down.

News services have become nothing more than sensationalist reality shows. Everything is either BREAKING News or EXCLUSIVE. I can see Breaking News at 6am and it's still announced that way at 8am. The idea that we don t tend to make judgements based on reasoning and evidence. We start with a hunch and go on a quest to have our existing beliefs confirmed. This is all good and well, but I feel like I'm being nagged to give a review all the time. If I have a good experience....I'll give a good rating, otherwise Leave me alone!! What are your experiences??

Why give a review, if the company are doing a good job they will get return customers. If they do a crap job they won't get any return customers. That should give them the information they require, no need to give special praise, they are doing the job they get paid to do, that's all the praise they should expect.

Many people struggle with the choice between following their passion or choosing a stable career. A passion-driven career often brings joy, motivation, and personal fulfilment, but it may not always provide financial security or long-term stability. Working a four-day week reduces burnout and improves job satisfaction, a new study has found. Do you see any positive impacts of having a four-day work week?
Andrew C 287196
It's the usual nonsense that has not been properly thought through.
1. If people can do the same amount of work in one less day, then they are obviously not working properly now - too much slacking off. The company could enforce proper working and get rid of some of the workers ... saving money (not that the company would lower the prices of their products / services).
2. If people are working properly now and getting "stressed", then removing one day means they'll have to work harder to get the same amount of work done and get even more stressed.
3. If people are working properly now and a day is removed, less work will be done, so the company will have to employ extra people to fill in the gap ... and therefore raise prices of their products / services.

Successful people have several common behaviours. They stay positive and motivated, finding meaning in their work and fully committing to their tasks. They have clear goals, think constructively, and are goal oriented. What is your experience? What kind of people succeed in life?
Isabelle 1570997
It depends on what your definition of sucess happens to be?
Is it surviving in your work environment despite having to deal with difficult, unsupportive or destructive people. Is it staying in 1 job and getting a regular pay so you can afford a mortgage, buy a home, have a family ? Is it climbing the ladder to more responsibility and increasing pay? Or is it surviving a difficult family with trauma and recovering from using, alcohol, drugs, co-dependance, care taking others and being exploited by others because you are too kind hearted? Or is it finding peace through pray, meditation, finding balance by walking and spending time in nature? Or is it Love empathy of your near and dearest and being Kind to all peole that you meet regardless of live's challenges? I suppose we all have are own definitions? Live is challenging for everybody in one way or another, so I think we all deserve a medal for having a go and trying to do as best we can. It is not a race or a competition or trying to be better than someone else. I would like a t-shirt to say I survived and despite enormous challenges I have not lost hope or the ability to be understanding and gentle with myself or others.

I have seen estimates online of how much people think you need to retire, but as long as you want a modest retirement, you could have saved a lot less and still retire. How much do you think you really need?
sandra b 1038153
I guess no one ever heard the saying we could never have enough money. I'm a lone with a small pension and i was on disability since i was 40 so my social security is very small and i have everything i need and never done without. So just live your life and quit worrying about what you might need, and you will be just fine

OK...I used to be a Travel Agent way back in the day. Do people still use travel agents at all?!?! If no, what are the best Travel sites that you use, and do they all offer guaranteed bookings? I remember using booking.com once and booked a hotel room and when I got to the hotel they did not have my reservation. Since then, I won't use any sites at all. What are your go-to sites for anything travel related?!?!?!
Karen S 841350
None, not trustworthy. Do my own research and directly book. Haven't got the coin to travel these days so go local

Alcohol ads often show drinking alcohol as something that will enhance mood or well-being, as well as contribute to positive emotional experiences, friendships, and achievement all ideas which young people find appealing. Should it all be banned, in your opinion?

My neighbors are elderly, but the fight a lot. They throw plates and other things at each other. We called the police who sent two young officers. We watched from our window as they knocked on the door. The elderly man opened the door and beckoned them to enter. The door was still open, and we heard the elderly man ask the officers if they'd like some coffee. He went on to tell them that his wife is sleeping and asked if they'd like him to wake her. The officers...

In the case of what is potentially a domestic violence case, the police should have spoken to both parties. To not speak to the woman, just because the man seemed nice is gross misconduct. This is how people die at the hands of their partners, when the people that are there to protect you fail at doing their job. This is incomprehensible. I would call the police, and explain what you've just told us. Thank you for calling, most people turn a blind eye. Having been in this situation before, I wish someone like you had come to my aid. You did a good thing to help someone in need, so I commend you for doing the right thing.

It's important to make clear to your adult kids that it's their responsibility and in their best long-term interests to earn their own way. Stress that any financial assistance you provide to them should be viewed as a bridge to their eventual financial independence and not a handout. What are your thoughts? Should you help your adult children financially?
Beverly I
My children have never asked me to help them financially, probably because I can't, but I will help in other ways, I have told them that if they are finding things to hard, they can come back home. But they seem to be doing great.

We have a section in our local show for collections. I always said I don't have anything. Then started going through things and realized I have at least 3. My Mother died last year, and somehow I now have around 15 vases that were hers, I also have some of my mothers-in-law and some of my Grandmothers. Ok, that counts as a collection. I also have a collection of beer mugs, everything from glasses with brands on them to big steins and many pewter ones. Some...

Australia has just stopped building a massive Green Hydrogen plant without any explanation ... we now have windmills, massive batteries and solar panel farms on one side ... or coal gas and nuclear power on the other. What happened to using green hydrogen to power everything? And massive wave farms that require little maintenance and provide power all day and night every day? They already exist ... what happened to gravity storage of power, rather than expensive...
Paula J 395266
Two companies have walked away from their wind farms claiming they are too expensive to operate. One was the very first wind farm. Twiggy Forrest walked away from Green Hydrogen, after he was given a huge Government grant, because he claimed it is too expensive to produce and a second company has also walked away making the same claim. Intermittent power is expensive despite the claims of Minister Bowen.

This is great for many people now, that some airlines has approved small pets to get to travel with the owners. All I can say wow, wow & wow. Won t be me on those flights with all that racket & god help the smell of any animal that they have & what will they be wearing nappies? Ha ha. And nappies? Who’s handling those mid-flight? Is there a designated “paw-tron” of the lavatory now? Will we be hit with surprise turbulence and surprise smells? If you are a huge sport star like a captain that you represent your country & your team, I strongly believe you should at all times act your age & be responsible in your actions & in the way you speak in public. Many people & especially children look up to you as you are there sport star & hero in their eyes, you need to set an example for them. I also believe...

Parents should teach their kids that "celebrities" (whether sport or entertainment industry) are not worth "looking up to". They are just normal people who got lucky enough to be paid obscene amounts of money for doing something not really that useful to society. Some of them are good, some make mistakes that they take responsibility for, and some are simply idiots.
The real "heroes" are the people like those who work for the emergency services, doctors who save lives, the nurses in hospitals, even the sewer workers who go down stinking holes in the ground to make sure your waste water doesn't clog up and overflow everywhere, the street cleaners and garbage collectors who keep everywhere tidy. Most of these people are massively underpaid by comparison to the so-called "celebrities".

United Nation should involve in imposing laws or make amendment to existing laws to look after endangered species of wildlife both on land and in the sea. People from all over the world are killing these endangered animals just to make money. Therefore, I suggest United Nation should discuss this issue and address it appropriately...

They're everywhere now. On the roads and footpaths as well. Riders un-helmeted, passengers too and at the speeds the youngsters are riding them it is only a matter of time before there is a fatality of either the rider, the passenger or a pedestrian. Should they be registered and/or the riders licensed?
Grommie
Not the tyres that are the issue, it's the power rating of the electric motor.
I wouldn't be surprised if some of them actually rate as a motor bike that needs to have a rider with a motor bike licence.
Fatalities are an inevitable consequence. You cannot legislate stupidity out of our lives.

What do you think if you're travelling down the road and several people blinks their light to notify you of the police is ahead? Do you think it is out of generosity or the people is saving you some money from the city or state from charging you a fine?
Andrew C 287196
Such signalling means the idiot drivers slow down for a short stretch and then simply speed up again after passing the police camera. The best option is to signal a "camera" even when there isn't one, then the idiot driver slows down for longer. Even better, let the idiot drivers get caught, fined, and even potentially have their license removed. *THEN* the roads will be much safer for the rest of us who actually obey the road rules and speed *limits*.
It's very very simple: If you can't obey the road rules, then get off the road!

If you could travel to anywhere in the world and money was not a constricting factor, where would you go ? I was supposed to do a tour of England, Ireland and Scotland in 2020, but unfortunately Covid intervened, and I since had to use the money for house repairs. I would do that trip if I could, and I would also love to see other places as well, maybe Italy and Greece. Where would you go if money was not an issue?
writerrochelle
I would go to Riverside, CA, to 'meet' my aunt Lee, my mom's sister, who has been a constant companion to me by telephone and emails, since my mom's death. I met my mom when I was in my 30's, but she was murdered before I could ever see her again. Lee has been there for me. She is 91 now, and I am 76, so I would go and spend time with my precious aunt Lee. ;-D

We will be going on our first cruise soon. Do any of you have a few tips about do's and don't's. What should we avoid or not miss out on? Is it good to do most activity bookings prior to the cruise, like excursions on the islands or spa treatments? Are there things to pack that they do not mention on the booking site, for example facial tissues? I would love to get some advice.
Perry 1310449
I have been on several. You can find excursions off of the ship cheaper than the excursions through the ship, but remember if you are on a ship based excursion, they will wait for you! Excursions you purchase from someone on land, they won’t wait for you, no matter the reason! Secondly, don’t buy the drink packages unless you expect to drink A LOT! I think it works out to you need to drink 15 drinks a day to pay the same amount! Yes, drinks on board will range from $11-$16 each, so take advantage of things like free juice at breakfast, along with free iced tea and coffee and hot chocolate. Steak House visits are over priced, and expensive, so leave them be, unless that is what you are going for! Main dining room food is excellent, and are covered with your cruise. They have changed sone rules there, so check when you board! Yes, you can sometimes get extra food there for free in limited amounts, like if you want an extra appetizer or dessert. But people ruined it over the years by requesting 2-3 main entrees! Like lobster and such. I ate there many times, excellent food! But smaller portions! You can go online to places like YouTube and look for videos of what each cruise line and ship offer for meals, posted by people who shared their cruise info! I highly recommend doing some early viewing! Myself, I ate many meals at the buffet on the Lido deck, or whatever deck each ship uses. LOTS OF GREAT FOOD! My wife loved the Omelette Bar! They make them to your specs in front of you. They also feature things like French toast, hot cakes, scrambled eggs with inclusions for breakfast, as well as toast, bagels, sliced meats like ham, salami, chicken and Turkey, cheeses, in case you just want to make a quick sandwich before an excursion? You will probably gain a few pounds on the cruise unless you really watch yourself! 😂😂. Unless you REALLY want them, stay away from the photographers! Sometimes those cute pictures you had taken on the boarding ramp, Formal Night, and by the dozens of photographers on the ship, can run into the $20-$30 range EACH. SO UNLESS YOU PLAN ON $500 worth of pictures coming home with you, beware! Sign up for the tip package before you embark! You are still expected to tip your room steward, etc., but you can base that on how good (or bad) they helped you out! Everything on board will be charged to your room account. And everything is expensive, so watch yourself unless money is not an object. A candy bar in one of the stores can cost $4-5 each instead of $1.50-2 at home. One of the places I never miss, us sone ships gave a candy store! It also has a few things like stuffed animals, drinks, etc. yes it us expensive, as in $7-8 a quarter pound! But I like ut because I can buy 2-3 of these wrapped candies, 4-5 or those, a quarter cop of M&Ms. They put them in a sip lock bag usually, so I leave them in my cabin, so at night if I get a tiny sweet tooth attack, I can eat a few and ve satisfied, rather than calling room service. They DO have room service, but remember the menu us limited, expensive, and you are expected to tip! Make sure to pack things like Sun block if you are going to Mexico or Bahamas, headache medicine, and any prescriptions you have. They do have some of those things available in a place or two on board, and if you go off ship, there are usually places like a Walmart or grocery store locally, but never expect there will be when you need them! And depending on where you travel, again, prices can be cheaper or more expensive! Our last cruise was to Alaska. And there, a $5 bottle of aspirin can be upwards to $15. A $2.50 bag of candy can be $15. I have to take my CPAP, but they don’t let you bring things like extension cords, electric fans, coffee pots, etc. on board, because everything us on the same circuit! If something shorts out, it can damage thousands if dollars worth of electronics! And you can be accountable for those costs! What else…if you are late fir your ship, you get left there and have to figure out how to get to your next destination, incurring more costs! Some people like to bring things to decorate their doors or room, so that is an option! Especially if it is something special, like your anniversary or honeymoon! My daughter, with kids, brings cheap but strong magnetic hooks from Amazon or Walmart that she can tie string to and hang swimming suits to dry, or decorations for the room. The walls are usually magnetic in your room, so makes it easy to put up and take down with no damage. There is a closet in your room, usually just 2-3 feet wide for hanging dresses, shirts, slacks, and the like. And usually a very small safe, usually about 8-10 inches wide, 6-7 inches high and 6 inches or so deep, so you can keep passports if you need them for your cruise, there so you don’t have to carry them around! In some instances you need to take your shipboard ID as well as your passport to check back in when you return from an off board excursion. And they can and will check pkges at times. You aren’t allowed to bring alcohol on board. So if you do, or you buy bottles on the ship, They will be sent to the pursers office to be kept safely for you until debarkation at home! They wa t you to buy their booze! lol. You are usually allowed to bring one case of coke or Pepsi or whatever when you arrive. If you want water bottles, you can purchase them before or after you arrive onboard. Just call the front desk or visit them. If you do need an extension cord or fan for your room, they can supply them for you. The same for power strips! They don’t trust power strips you bring on board, so do not pack them! My wife and I always ask for one, because unless you are in a suite, there is generally only one outlet in your cabin! So with 2 iPhones, an iPad, chargers for camera batteries, yes, my lovely wife is an avid amateur photographer, we need much more than one! I hope that helps you a little. And hope you didn’t get bored listening to me rant! God Bless and watch over you on your trip!😜

Japan Airlines has successfully carried out one flight using fuel made entirely from recycled cotton...also we have the capacity to replace all these huge container ships, which are a really major cause of all our air pollution...with helium airships using mainly solar-powered engines...these two are "news" stories...BUT they are real and viable...so why aren't we using them?...what is wrong?
Linda C
Helium does have an environmental impact : The extraction process can lead to air and water pollution as well as soil erosion or depletion due to mining activities.
Cotton can be converted but it takes over 100 tonnes to get 10 Kiloliters of fuel or roughly 2641 gallons, however a plane uses 1 gallon of fuel every second.
I do not think they would work out financially viable. I guess that is why they are not being used commercially.

I keep seeing artificial intelligence being pushed on society lately. Do you believe there are more cons than pros with this? Honestly, it scares me how it's coming into life a lot lately.
Andrew C 287196
"Artificial Intelligence" is an oxymoron. A computer cannot possibly "learn" nor be "intelligent" in any way at all - a computer simply follows the instructions the programmer gave it. The whole artificial intelligence bandwagon is simply nonsense and most of it is nothing but pure gimmickry by greedy corporates trying to get fools to buy yet another updated, higher priced device they don't actually need and have no idea why they want it. 🙄
